Abstract

Kompetensi pedagogik merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh guru sebagai pendidik profesional. Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur sebagai penyelenggara Program Sarjana Pendidikan bertanggung jawab untuk menciptakan lulusan yang memenuhi tuntutan kebutuhan profesi guru, salah satunya melalui pelaksanaan Program Pengenalan Lapangan. Observasi awal penulis menunjukan masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum memahami dengan utuh kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh guru, termasuk diantaranya kompetensi pedagogik. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh pelaksanaan Program Pengenalan Lapangan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui teknik survey dengan instrumen kuesioner untuk mengetahui gambaran umum pelaksanaan Program Pengenalan Lapangan, serta teknik tes dengan instrumen soal pilihan ganda untuk mengetahui gambaran penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 24 mahasiswa peserta Program Pengenalan Lapangan semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022 di wilayah Bandung, yang tersebar di 4 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Hasil penelitian menunjukan pelaksanaan Program Pengenalan Lapangan mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia secara umum berada pada kategori baik, sedangkan tingkat penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik berada pada kategori cukup. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS Statistics 24 menunjukan pelaksanaan Program Pengenalan Lapangan di program studi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa dengan kontribusi sebesar 54%. Temuan tersebut menunjukan pelaksanaan Program Pengenalan Lapangan memengaruhi tingkat penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa dengan pengaruh yang tinggi, artinya semakin baik pelaksanaan Program Pengenalan Lapangan diselenggarakan, maka semakin baik tingkat penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa. ABSTRACT Pedagogical competence is one of the competencies that must be possessed by teachers as professional educators. Architectural Engineering Education as the organizer of the Bachelor of Education Program is responsible for creating graduates who meet the demands of the teaching profession, one of which is through the implementation of the Teaching Practice. The author's initial observations show that there are still many students who do not fully understand the competencies that must be possessed by teachers, including pedagogical competencies. This study was intended to determine the effect of the implementation of the Teaching Practice on the pedagogic competence of students of the Architectural Engineering Education Program, Indonesia University if Education. The method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research data was collected through a survey technique with a questionnaire instrument to determine the general description of the implementation of Teaching Practice, as well as a test technique with multiple choice questions instruments to determine the description of students' mastery of pedagogical competencies. The research sample consisted of 24 students participating in the Teaching Practice Program for the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year in the Bandung area, spread over 4 Vocational High Schools (SMK). The results showed that the implementation of Teaching Practice for the students of the Architectural Engineering Education Program, Indonesia University of Education was generally in the good category, while the level of mastery of pedagogical competence was in the sufficient category. Data analysis carried out with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 24 software shows that the implementation of Teaching Practice in the Architectural Engineering Education study program at the Indonesia University of Education has a positive influence on students' mastery of pedagogical competencies with a contribution of 54%. These findings show that the implementation of the Teaching Practice affects the level of mastery of student pedagogical competencies with a high influence, meaning that the better the implementation of the Teaching Practice Program is held, the better the level of mastery of student pedagogical competencies.
