Abstract

Pencak silat merupakan bagian dari kurikulum pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga yang diajarkan dari jenjang pendidikan dasar sampai dengan pendidikan tinggi meskipun belum optimal karena berbagai persoalan. Kenyataan yang telah ditemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa guru maupun pelatih siswa yang masih belum mampu dalam memahami berbagai model pembelajaran, sehingga membuat siswa merasa kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang diberikan oleh tutor/pelatih siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu pelatih siswa dalam menyampaikan materi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran peer teaching sehingga siswa dapat mamahami materi yang telah diberikan dan ingin mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Peer Teaching terhadap penguasaan teknik T terhadap para siswa ekstrakurikuler pencak silat SMP Negeri 1 Suranenggala. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen One Grup Pre-Test Post-Test. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di Ekstrakurikuler Pencak Silat SMP Negeri 1 Suranenggala Kabupaten Cirebon Provinsi Jawa Barat dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 25 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, rata-rata skor pre test dan post test tendangan T menunjukkan nilai 0,518. Hasil tendangan T menunjukkan nilai Sg > 0,05. Maka kesimpulannya H1 ditolak dan H0 diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran peer teaching karena tidak dapat meningkatkan penguasan teknik tendangan T Sehingga siswa tidak mengalami progess yang signifikan sebelum diberikan perlakuan (treatment) dan setelah diberikan perlakuan (treatment). Kata kunci: Pencak Silat, One Grup Pre-Test Post-Test, Model Pembelajaran Peer Teaching Pencak silat is part of the physical education curriculum and sports that are taught from basic education to higher education although it is not optimal due to various problems. The fact that it has been found that there are some teachers and student trainers who are still not able to understand various learning models, thus making students find it difficult to understand the material given by the student tutors/coaches. The purpose of this study is to assist student trainers in delivering material using the peer teaching learning model so that students can understand the material that has been given and want to know the effect of the Peer Teaching learning model on the mastery of the T technique for the extracurricular pencak silat students at SMP Negeri 1 Suranenggala. This research is a quantitative research with an experimental research design of One Group Pre-Test Post-Test. The location of the study was carried out in the Pencak Silat Extracurricular of SMP Negeri 1 Suranenggala, Cirebon Regency, West Java Province with a total sample of 25 people. Based on the results of data analysis, the average pre-test and post-test scores of the T-kick showed a value of 0.518. The result of the T kick shows the Sg value > 0.05. So the conclusion is H1 is rejected and H0 is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is no influence of the peer teaching learning model because it cannot improve mastery of the T kick technique so that students do not experience significant progress before being given treatment (treatment) and after being given treatment (treatment).
