Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Kompetensi Manajerial Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 8 Kota Bandung”. Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dan dikaji yaitu: (1) Bagaimana kompetensi manajerial yang dilakukan kepala sekolah pada saat pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 8 Bandung, (2) Bagaimana kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 8 Kota Bandung pada saat pandemi Covid-19, dan (3) Seberapa besar pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru pada saat pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 8 Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket tertutup, yang disebarkan kepada 51 guru sebagai sampel penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan rumus Weighted Means Scored (WMS), diperoleh gambaran umum kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah berada dalam kategori sangat baik dengan skor 4,19. Lalu gambaran umum kinerja guru berada dalam kategori sangat baik dengan skor 4,18. Hasil uji normalitas terhadap distribusi data menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru berdistribusi normal, selanjutnya analisis data menggunakan statistik parametrik, yaitu analisis korelasi, uji koefisien determinasi, uji signifikansi, dan analisis regresi sederhana. Analisis korelasi kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru dengan menggunakan Pearson Product Moment memiliki hubungan yang cukup signifikan. Hal tersebut dilihat dari hasil koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,579 yang berada dalam kategori cukup kuat, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 33,5%. Adapun hasil uji signifikansi dengan uji-t diperoleh t_hitung = 4,973 dan diketahui t_tabel = 2,010, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Begitu juga dengan hasil analisis regresi sederhana diperoleh persamaan yaitu Y ̂ = 23,839 + 0,538X, artinya bahwa setiap ada perubahan satu unit pada kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah akan meningkat 0,538 pada kinerja guru dengan arah perubahan positif. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian statistic secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 8 Kota Bandung. This research is entitled "The Effect of Principal Managerial Competence on Teacher Performance During the Covid-19 Pandemic at SMK Negeri 8 Bandung". The problems to be discussed and studied are: (1) How is the managerial competence carried out by school principals during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 8 Bandung City, (2) How is the performance of teachers at SMK Negeri 8 Bandung City during the Covid-19 pandemic, and (3) How much managerial competence possessed by the principal has an effect on teacher performance during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 8 Bandung City. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique in this study used a closed questionnaire, which was distributed to 51 teachers as the research sample. Based on the results of calculations using the Weighted Means Scored (WMS) formula, the general description of the principal's managerial competence is in the very good category with a score of 4.19. Then the general description of teacher performance is in the very good category with a score of 4.18. The results of the normality test on the data distribution showed that the principal's managerial competence and teacher performance were normally distributed, then the data were analyzed using parametric statistics, namely correlation analysis, coefficient of determination test, significance test, and simple regression analysis. Correlation analysis of principal managerial competence and teacher performance using Pearson Product Moment has a significant relationship. This can be seen from the results of the correlation coefficient of 0.579 which is in the fairly strong category, with a coefficient of determination of 33.5%. The results of the significance test with the t-test obtained t_count = 4.973 and it is known that t_table = 2.010, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between the managerial competence of the principal on teacher performance. Likewise with the results of simple regression analysis, the equation is Y = 23.839 + 0.538X, meaning that every one unit change in the managerial competence of the principal will increase by 0.538 in teacher performance with a positive change direction. Based on the overall statistical test results, it can be concluded that the managerial competence of the principal has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 8 Bandung.
