Abstract
Penggunaan teknologi menjadi hal yang sangat penting, terlebih dalam bidang pembelajaran. Keberlangsungan pembelajaran tidak terlepas dari adanya media yang membantu proses pendidikan, termasuk pembelajaran di ranah PAUD. Pada ranah PAUD sendiri diperlukan media yang dapat membantu anak dalam proses perkembangannya, salah satunya adalah Let’s Read . Let’s Read merupakan aplikasi buku digital anak garapan Asia Foundation yang berfokus pada peningkatan minat baca anak. Sebuah aplikasi memerlukan evaluasi agar dapat memperbaiki sistem yang belum sempurna, yang kemudian menjadi bahan penelitian evaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil evaluasi aplikasi dari segi Usefulness, Easy of Use, Easy of Learn, dan Satisfaction. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini salah satunya untuk mempromosikan aplikasi baca anak dan tanggapan guru PAUD mengenai aplikasi Let’s Read . Metode yang digunakan adalah USE Questionnaire, memiliki sekitar 30 pernyataan yang mencakup kebergunaan sistem atau aplikasi. Sasaran penelitian adalah guru PAUD di Kecamatan Situraja-Sumedang dengan populasi sebanyak 55 orang dan sampel yang didapatkan sebanyak 35 responden. Hasil yang didapat bahwa hasil evaluasi dimensi Usefulness mendapat presentase 86,2%. Kemudian untuk dimensi Easy of Use mendapatkan presentase mencapai 85,02%. Dimensi ketiga yaitu Easy of Learn mendapat presentase 88,95%. Dan dimensi terakhir Satisfaction mendapat presentase sebesar 90,07%. Total skor keseluruhan berdasarkan penelitian adalah sebesar 87,31% yang berarti aplikasi Let’s Read masuk kedalam kategori sangat layak untuk digunakan. The use of technology is very important, especially in the field of learning. The continuity of learning cannot be separated from the existence of media that help the educational process, including learning in the realm of early childhood education . In the realm of early childhood education, media can help children in the their development process, one of which is Let’s Read . Let’s Read is a children's digital book application developed by the Asia Foundation that focuses on increasing children's interest in reading. An application requires evaluation in order to improve the rudimentary system, which then becomes the material for evaluation research.. This research aims to determine the results of application evaluation in terms of Usefulness, Easy of Use, Easy of Learn, and Satisfaction. One of the implementation of this research is to promote children's reading applications and earky childhood teachers' responses to the Let’s Read application.This research used USE Questionnaire as the method, which has about 30 statements covering the usability of the system or application. Target of this research was early childhood education teacher’s in Situraja-Sumedang with 55 population and 35 sample. The result of the evaluation of the Usefulness dimension got 86,2%. Then for the Easy of Use dimension reached 85,02%. The third dimension called Easy of Learn got 88,95%. And the last dimension os Satisfaction who reached 90,07%. Total score based on research is 87,31%, which means Let’s Read application is in the very feasible category to use.
