Abstract

ANALISIS KESESUAIAN MATA KULIAH PRASYARAT DENGAN KESIAPAN MAHASISWA MELAKSANAKAN PRAKTIK INDUSTRI Dilla Dwi Putri, 1800146 Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur, Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur, FPTK UPI ABSTRAK Praktik industri merupakan salah satu mata kuliah yang mewadahi mahasiswa pendidikan teknik arsitektur untuk menerapkan teori yang telah dipelajari sebelumnya secara langsung di lapangan dan sebagai penunjang untuk menciptakan lulusan sebagai praktisi industri. Berdasarkan realitas dan kendala mahasiswa di lapangan, mata kuliah sebelumnya terkhususkan mata kuliah prasyarat belum sepenuhnya menunjang mata kuliah praktik industri (PI). Dengan adanya permasalahan terebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian mata kuliah prasyarat dengan kesiapan mahasiswa pendidikan teknik arsitektur melaksanakan praktik industri yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan kompetensi mitra industri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang di dalamnya terdapat metode analisis konten atau isi pada capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah (CPMK) prasyarat dengan praktik industri. Data diperoleh berdasarkan analisis isi dokumen kurikulum, wawancara terhadap 9 mitra industri, dan tes kognitif terhadap 30 mahasiswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 1) mata kuliah prasyarat sudah sesuai dan menunjang praktik industri tetapi memiliki tingkat kesesuaian dalam kategori sangat rendah, 2) mata kuliah prasyarat menunjang dua item kebutuhan kompetensi mitra industri, selain itu munculnya mata kuliah lain yang menunjang kebutuhan kompetensi mitra industri, dan 3) hasil tes menunjukkan termasuk ke dalam kategori baik di mana memiliki rata-rata sebesar 79,37. Hal tersebut menunjukkan adanya ketidak-linearan hasil analisis isi dengan hasil tes mahasiswa. Kata Kunci: Analisis Isi, Mata Kuliah Prasyarat, Praktik Industri, Mitra Industri, Kesiapan. ANALYSIS OF THE SUITABILITY OF PREREQUISITE COURSES WITH STUDENTS' READINESS TO IMPLEMENT INDUSTRIAL PRACTICES Dilla Dwi Putri, 1800146 Program of Architectural Engineering Education, Departement of Architectural Engineering Education, FPTK UPI ABSTRACT Industrial practice is one of the courses that accommodate architectural engineering education students to apply the theories that have been studied previously directly in the field and as a support to create graduates as industrial practitioners. Based on the realities and constraints of students in the field, previous courses, especially prerequisite courses, have not fully supported industrial practice (PI) courses. Given these problems, this study aims to determine the suitability of prerequisite courses with the readiness of architectural engineering education students to carry out industrial practices following the competency needs of industrial partners. This research is a qualitative descriptive study in which there is a content analysis method or content on the prerequisite course learning outcomes (CPMK) with industrial practice. Data were obtained based on content analysis of curriculum documents, interviews with 9 industry partners, and cognitive tests on 30 students. The results of the analysis show that 1) prerequisite courses are appropriate and support industrial practice but have a deficient level of suitability, 2) prerequisite courses support two items of industrial partner competency needs, in addition to the emergence of other courses that support industrial partner competency needs, and 3) the test results show in the good category where it has an average of 79.37. This case shows that there is a non-linearity in the results of content analysis with student test results.
