Abstract

Figure skating merupakan olahraga atletik dan estetis. Dibalik olahraga yang indah, mewah dan elegan, dengan koreografi yang memiliki banyak unsur dari Gerakan balet, gimnastik dan lain sebagainya. Figure skating memiliki makna-makna kehidupan di dalamnya, di antaranya kerja keras, dedikasi, Kesehatan mental, gender, pengendalian diri, kepercayaan antar rekan, bagaimana menghadapi permasalahan, dan lain sebagainya. Rangkaian fenomena tersebutlah yang menginspirasi untuk dijadikan gagasan utama dan ide dalam memvisualisasikan olahraga figure skating tersebut ke dalam seni lukis kontemporer. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk memvisualisasikan Gerakan dari figure skating sebagai seni lukis kontemporer. Adapun alasan pengambilan judul “POTRET KEINDAHAN VISUAL FIGURE SKATING SEBAGAL IDE BERKARYA SENI LUKIS KONTEMPORER” agar dapat memberikan sebuah perkenalan dan wawasan terkait olahraga figure skating dari segi artistik dan estetika dari olahraga musim dingin tersebut. Selain itu, dapat menjadi informasi dan referensi bagi orang yang memiliki ketertarikan akan olahraga tersebut. Penyusunan karya tulis dan lukisan ini melewati tahapan-tahapan yang bermula dari pencarian ide untuk berkarya, proses kontemplasi atau perenungan, stimulasi, serta proses realisasi karya hingga selesai. Penyusunan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan kajian berbasis kajian Pustaka. Media yang digunakan dalam karya seni lukis ini yaitu cat minyak di atas kanvas. Karya yang dihasilkan yaitu sebanyak lima karya menggunakan teknik blending, dan sapuan kuas. Dengan ketiga lukisan tersebut berjudul: 1) De pappillion, 2) De Yeux, 3) De Yeux Pappillion. Hasil karya penciptaan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kesan, informasi dan inspirasi yang berarti bagi penikmatnya. Figure skating is an athletic and aesthetic sport. Behind the beautiful, luxurious and elegant sport, with choreography that has many elements from ballet movements, gymnastics and so on. Figure skating has the meanings of life in it, including hard work, dedication, mental health, gender, self-control, trust between colleagues, how to deal with problems, and so on. It was this series of phenomena that inspired the main ideas in visualizing the figure skating sport into contemporary painting. The purpose of this research is to visualize the movement of figure skating as contemporary painting. The reason for taking the title "VISUAL BEAUTY OF FIGURE SKATING AS CONTEMPORARY PAINTING IDEAS " is to provide an introduction and insight into the sport of figure skating from an artistic and aesthetic point of view of the winter sport. In addition, it can be an information and reference for people who have an interest in the sport. The preparation of these written works and paintings goes through stages starting from the search for ideas to create, the process of contemplation or reflection, stimulation, and the process of realizing the work to completion. The preparation of this research was carried out using a qualitative method with a study based on literature studies. The medium used in this painting is oil paint on canvas. The resulting works are as many as five works using blending techniques, and brush strokes. With the three paintings entitled: 1) De pappillion, 2) De Yeux, 3) De Yeux Pappillion. The results of this creation are expected to provide meaningful impressions, information and inspiration for the audience.
