Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada identifikasi masalah yang peneliti temukan di Desa Cianaga yaitu letak daerah pedesaan, latar belakang Pendidikan para orang tua, dan belum tersedianya layanan PAUD Formal di Desa ini. Hal tersebut menjadi dasar peneliti untuk mengkaji bagaimana tingkat pemahaman para orang tua di Desa Cianaga terhadap Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Maka dari itu penelitian itu pada dasarnya bertujuan agar dapat mendeskrifsikan tingkat pemahaman orang tua terhadap Pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Metode ini dipilih untuk dapat menjawab rumusan masalah penelitian. Proses pengumpulan data berdasarkan metode survei data diperoleh dari data angkat yang disebar pada sampel penelitian yang telah ditentukan. Adapun sampel penelitian ini yaitu orang tua yang memiliki anak usia dini terdaftar pada Lembaga PAUD di Desa Cianaga. Analisis data survei dilakukan dengam bantuan IMB SPSS 22, kemudian data hasil analisis di-interpretasikan berdasarkan tujuan penelitian. Dengan demikian berdasarkan analisis data survey tentang tingkat pemahaman orang tua di Desa Cianaga terhadap Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini yaitu pada aspek Hakikat Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini termasuk kategori rendah (44,4%), aspek tujuan dan Fungsi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini termasuk kategori sedang (52,5%), dan aspek Jalur Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini termasuk kategori sedang (39,9%). Serta pada dasarnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman Orang Tua di Desa Cianaga terhadap Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini terdapat pada kategori sedang (56%). ABSTRACK This study is based on the identification of problems that researchers found in Cianaga Village, namely the location of rural areas, the educational background of the parents, and the unavailability of Formal PAUD services in this village. This is the basis for researchers to examine how the level of understanding of parents in Cianaga Village towards Early Childhood Education. Therefore, the research basically aims to be able to describe the level of understanding of parents towards early childhood education. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. This method was chosen to be able to answer the formulation of the research problem. The data collection process is based on the survey method. The data is obtained from lift data distributed to the research sample that has been determined. The sample of this study is parents who have early childhood registered at the PAUD Institute in Cianaga Village. Survey data analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS 22 IMB, then the data from the analysis were interpreted based on the research objectives. Thus, based on the analysis of survey data, the level of understanding of parents in Cianaga Village towards Early Childhood Education is in the aspect of the Nature of Early Childhood Education including the low category (44.4%), aspects of the purpose and function of Early Childhood Education including the medium category (52, 5%), and the aspect of the Pathway for the Implementation of Early Childhood Education is in the medium category (39.9%). And basically it can be concluded that the level of understanding of parents in Cianaga Village towards Early Childhood Education is in the medium category (56%).
