Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari permasalahan perihal kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran dan permasalahan mengenai tenaga didik dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran yang masih bersifat umum. Serta belum tersedianya media pembelajaran papan alur untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan membilang anak, dan media papan alur juga belum digunakan khususnya untuk kemampuan membilang pada anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan membilang anak usia 5-6 tahun sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang ada di lapangan. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti mengenai kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran khususnya media papan alur yang memfasilitasi kemampuan membilang pada anak usia dini. Maka dari itu, peneliti memiliki inovasi untuk merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Education Design Research (EDR) karya McKenney dan Reves. Metode penelitian ini memiliki empat tahap diantaraya: tahap Analisis dan Eksplorasi (Analysis and Exploration), tahap Desain dan Kontruksi (Design and Contruction), tahap Evaluasi dan Refleksi (Evaluation and Reflection) dan Tahap Kelayakan Produk. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket, validasi ahli, instrumen validasi ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli pedagogik. Serta melalui beberapa revisi dan masukan sesuai saran dari validator ahli. Setelah melaksanakan validasi ke ahli selanjutnya peneliti melaksanakan uji coba ke TK Plus Manar Al-Ummat Cikoneng di kelompok B. Secara umum bahwa pengembangan media papan alur untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan membiang anak usia dini ini berhasil dikembangkan dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dijenjang pendidikan anak usia dini. Kata Kunci : Membilang, Media Pembelajaran, Design Educational Research ABSTRACT This research is motivated by problems regarding the lack of use of learning media and problems regarding students in delivering learning materials that are still general in nature. As well as the unavailability of groove board learning media to facilitate children's numeracy skills, and groove board media has also not been used, especially for children's numeracy skills. The purpose of this study is to develop learning media to facilitate the ability to count children aged 5-6 years according to the needs that exist in the field. This research is based on a preliminary study conducted by researchers regarding the lack of use of learning media, especially flowboard media that facilitates numeracy skills in early childhood. Therefore, researchers have innovations to design and develop learning media according to children's needs. The method used in this research is the Education Design Research (EDR) method by McKenney and Reves. This research method has four stages including: Analysis and Exploration stage, Design and Construction stage, Evaluation and Reflection stage and Product Feasibility Stage. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, expert validation, instrument validation of material experts, media experts and pedagogical experts. And through several revisions and input according to suggestions from expert validators. After carrying out expert validation, the researcher then carried out a trial to TK Plus Manar Al-Ummat Cikoneng in group B. In general, the development of flowboard media to facilitate the ability to guide early childhood was successfully developed and suitable for use in learning at the early childhood education level.
