Abstract
Tasya Lovita Sitepu (2022). Profil Academic Burnout Berdasarkan Status Sosial Ekonomi dan Implikasinya Bagi Layanan Bimbingan Belajar (Studi Diskriptif terhadap Peserta Didik Kelas XII di SMA Negeri 9 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023). Academic burnout merupakan masalah akademik yang dialami oleh peserta didik akibat tekanan dalam proses pembelajaran yang menyebabkan stress, beban, hingga masalah psikologis. Peserta didik yang mengalami academic burnout menunjukkan kelelahan baik secara fisik, mental, serta emosi selama mengikuti pembelajaran, sikap sinis terhadap pembelajaran, serta penurunan keyakinan terhadap akademik. Fenomena di sekolah menunjukkan adanya peserta didik yang mengalami academic burnout. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi academic burnout adalah status sosial ekonomi. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana gambaran secara umum academic burnout pada peserta didik Kelas XII serta seberapa signifikan latar belakang status sosial ekonomi peserta didik memberikan pengaruh terhadap kondisi academic burnout. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi deskriptif serta sampel jenuh sebanyak 345 peserta didik Kelas XII di SMA Negeri 9 Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam Penelitian berupa kuisioner Maslach Burnout Inventory – Student Survey (MBI-SS) yang dikembangkan oleh Schaufeli et al. (2002) melalui google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) secara umum peserta didik berada pada kategori low academic burnout; (2) mayariotas peserta didik dengan status sosial ekonomi bawah memiliki tingkat high academic burnout; (3) Status sosial ekonomi memiliki kontribusi secara signifikan terhadap intensitas academic burnout Kata kunci: Academic burnout; status sosial ekonomi; bimbingan belajar Tasya Lovita Sitepu (2022). Academic Burnout Profile Based on Socioeconomic Status and Its Implications for Academic Guidance (A Descriptive Study of 12th Grade Students at SMA Negeri 9 Bandung, Academic Year 2022/2023) Academic burnout is an issue faced by students caused by pressure in the learning process that leads to stress, burdens, and psychological issues. Students experiencing academic burnout show physical, mental, and emotional fatigue during the learning. They also show a cynical attitude towards the learning process and decreased academic confidence. It is shown that in school, students are seen experiencing academic burnout. One of the factors affecting academic burnout is socioeconomic status. The study was aimed at investigating 12th-grade students’ academic burnout in general and the significance of students’ socioeconomic status background on academic burnout symptoms. This study used a descriptive method with a saturated sampling technique of 345 students in 12th grade. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire of the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) developed by Schaufeli et al. (2002) administered through Google Form. The results indicate: (1) In general, the students were categorized as experiencing low academic burnout; (2) The majority of the students with low socioeconomic status had low academic burnout; (3) Socioeconomic status contributed significantly to the intensity of academic burnout.
