Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model bimbingan dan konseling kolaboratif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan belajar siswa SMA. Strategi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D) dengan tahap-tahap penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) tahap persiapan, (2) perancangan model hipotetik, (3) uji kelayakan model hipotetik, (4) perbaikan model hipotetik, (5) uji efektivitas model hipotetik, dan (6) perancangan model akhir bimbingan dan konseling kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan belajar siswa SMA. Subjek penelitian adalah konselor, kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket keterampilan belajar siswa, komunikasi, lingkungan sosial budaya sekolah, dan kegiatan personil yang terkait dengan pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Secara umum, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model bimbingan dan konseling kolaboratif efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan belajar siswa SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bandung Barat karena peningkatan keterampilan belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi secara signifikan dari pada peningkatan keterampilan belajar kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut direkomendasikan agar model bimbingan dan konseling kolaboratif ini (1) digunakan sebagai salah satu model bimbingan dan konseling alternatif di SMA untuk meningkatkan keterampilan belajar, (2) dimanfaatkan sebagai media bagi sekolah, universitas, dan LPTK untuk mengembangkan program kolaborasi antara personil sebagai upaya peningkatan pelayanan terhadap siswa, (3) dimasukkan sebagai salah satu bahan mata kuliah bimbingan dan konseling kolaboratif. Disamping itu, untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat meneliti efektivitas model bimbingan dan konseling kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial, pribadi dan karir siswa SMA. ABSTRACT The main objective of this study is to obtain a collaborative model of guidance and counseling which is effective to improve the learning skills of SMA students. The strategy of the study is the research and development ( R & D ) with the following stages: (1) preliminary study, (2) designing hypothetical models, (3) test of hypothetical models, (4) improvement of hypothetical models, (5) efectiveness tests of hypothetical models, and (6) designing the “final models” of collaborative guidance and counseling models to improve the learning skill of Senior High School Students. The subjects of the study are principals, counselor, teachers, and students of SMA in Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Data are collected by using an inventory of students learning skills, communication, social and cultural environment of the school, and personnels activities related to the services of guidance and counseling. The data are analized quantitatively and qualitatively. In general, the results indicated that the collaborative model of guidance and counseling is effective in improving the learning skills of the SMA students in Kabupaten Bandung Barat. The learning skills of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. Based of the results, it is recommended that the collaborative model of guidance and counseling: (1) is applied as alternative model of guidance and counseling for the counselor of SMA’s to improve the students learning skills, (2) is accomodated as medium for the schools, universities, and teacher training institutions to develop collaborative program of the school personnel for improving the services to the students, (3) is recommended as one of the lecture materials of collaborative guidance and counseling subject. Besides`that further researchers are supposed to carry out a research on the effectiveness of collaborative model of guidance and counseling to improve the social skill, personal, and carreer of the Senior High School Students.
