Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Pemenuhan Tugas Jabatan Guru di SMK Negeri 2 Sumedang (Studi Kasus Pada Guru Bersertifikasi di SMKN 2 Sumedang)”. Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu berdasarkan hasil pengamatan salah satu Pengawas SMK di Kabupaten Sumedang, Jawa Barat bahwa ditemukannya fenomena guru yang tersertifiksi belum maksimal dalam pemenuhan tugasnya serta kualitas mengajarnya menurun pasca sertifikasi. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Mengetahui bagaimana pemenuhan tugas-tugas guru bersertifikasi, (2) Mengatahui dampak pemberian sertifikat pendidik. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Purposive sampling. Purposive sampling adalah teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Pertimbangan tertentu ini, misalnya orang tersebut dianggap paling tahu tentang apa yang kita butuhkan, atau mungkin orang tersebut sebagai penguasa sehingga akan memudahkan peneliti menjelajahi objek/situasi sosial yang diteliti, metode penelitian deksriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriprif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru bersertifikasi di SMKN 2 Sumedang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai dan kemampuan dasar guru serta kompetensi guru berdasarkan uraian tugas yang diembannya. Adapun beberapa tugas tambahan yang dibebankan kepada guru dikerjakan diwaktu senggang atau dihari libur guna memenuhi beban kerja tersebut. Idelanya, pemenuhan tugas guru minimalnya harus nemempuh 24 jam dalam satu minggu, nyatanya ada beberapa guru yang telah melampaui batas dari beban kerja tersebut. Responden pada penelitian ini yaitu guru bersertifikasi di SMKN 2 Sumedang dengan jumlah responden sebanyak tiga guru diantaranya dua orang guru laki-laki dan satu orang guru perempuan. Implikasi penelitian berupa hasil penelitian yang diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran, tunjangan profesi pun menjadi salah satu faktor dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan guru. Rekomendasi penelitian digunakan sebagai acuan tugas dan produk yang belum terpenuhi dari beban kerja guru serta cara meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran sehingga perlu diadakannya seminar, workshop, dan jenis pelatihan lainnya agar guru tidak terpaku pada satu kompetensi saja serta dapat lebih mengembangkan potensi maupun keterampilanm agar pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan lebih mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik. ANALYSIS OF TEACHER POSITION FULFILLMENT AT SMK NEGERI 2 SUMEDANG (Case Study on Certified Teachers at SMKN 2 Sumedang) ABSTRACT This research is entitled "Analysis of Teacher Position Fulfillment at SMK Negeri 2 Sumedang (Case Study on Certified Teachers at SMKN 2 Sumedang)". The background of this research is based on the observation of one of the Vocational High School Supervisors in Sumedang Regency, West Java that the phenomenon of certified teachers has not been maximized in fulfilling their duties and their teaching quality has decreased after certification. The objectives of this research are: (1) Knowing how to fulfill the duties of certified teachers, (2) Knowing the impact of giving educator certificates. The method used is purposive sampling. Purposive sampling is a sampling technique with certain considerations. This particular consideration, for example, the person is considered to know best about what we need, or maybe the person is a ruler so that it will make it easier for researchers to explore the object/social situation under study, descriptive research method using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that certified teachers at SMKN 2 Sumedang uphold the values and basic abilities of teachers and teacher competencies based on their job descriptions. As for some of the additional tasks that are assigned to teachers are done in their spare time or on holidays to meet the workload. Ideally, the fulfillment of teacher duties must be at least 24 hours a week, in fact there are some teachers who have exceeded the limit of the workload. Respondents in this study were certified teachers at SMKN 2 Sumedang with a total of three teachers including two male teachers and one female teacher. The implications of the research in the form of research results that are expected to be used as a reference in improving the quality of learning, professional allowances are also one of the factors in improving teacher welfare. Research recommendations are used as a reference for tasks and products that have not been fulfilled from the teacher's workload and how to improve teacher professionalism in improving the quality of learning so that seminars, workshops, and other types of training are needed so that teachers are not fixated on one competency and can further develop their potential and skills. so that the learning carried out is more easily understood by students.
