Abstract
APPLICATION OF THE BEAM CENTER LEARNING MODEL IN DEVELOPING COGNITIVE ABILITY CHILDREN AGES 4-5 YEARS (PAUD Bina Bangsa Islamic School) Cognitive development in early childhood is one aspect of development that is very important to develop. Within the scope of education, children will be given a stimulus by using a learning model. One of the learning models that can be given is center-based learning, with the main characteristic of providing a foothold to build a rule. This study aims to describe the application of the beam center learning model in developing the cognitive abilities of children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Bina Bangsa Islamic School. By using a qualitative descriptive method. The research participants were the beam center teacher and class A Rabi'ul Akhir, totaling 8 children. Collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the teacher plans and arranges learning programs and provides density and intensity of play by preparing 4 playing steps. The application of this beam center learning can develop children's cognitive abilities, it can be seen when learning takes place the children already understand what is instructed by the teacher with the results of the child's development achievements having Developed As Expected (BSH) and Very Well Developed (BSB).
