Abstract
Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII jurusan OTKP di SMK Negeri 3 Baleendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran praktik kerja industri, gambaran kesiapan kerja siswa dan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII jurusan OTKP di SMK Negeri 3 Baleendah. Variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini yaitu praktik kerja industri dan kesiapan kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode explanatory survey dan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan model skala likert. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII jurusan OTKP di SMK Negeri 3 Baleendah sebanyak 84 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Gambaran efektivitas praktik kerja industri berada pada kategori efektif, (2) Gambaran tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa berada pada kategori tinggi, (3) Praktik kerja industri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa praktik kerja industri berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII jurusan OTKP di SMK Negeri 3 Baleendah. The problem studied in this study is the low work readiness of class XII students majoring in OTKP at SMK Negeri 3 Baleendah. The purpose of this research is to find out a description of industrial work practices, a description of student work readiness and to determine whether there is an influence of industrial work practices on the work readiness of class XII students majoring in OTKP at SMK Negeri 3 Baleendah. The variables studied in this study are industrial work practices and work readiness. The research method used in this study is an explanatory survey method and data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. Respondents in this study were students of class XII majoring in OTKP at SMK Negeri 3 Baleendah as many as 84 students. The results of this study are: (1) The description of the effectiveness of industrial work practices is in the effective category, (2) The description of the level of student work readiness is in the high category, (3) Industrial work practices have a significant effect on student work readiness. Thus, it can be concluded that industrial work practices have an effect on increasing the work readiness of class XII students majoring in OTKP at SMK Negeri 3 Baleendah.
