Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam penelitian ini diartikan sebagai bentuk strategi dalam pembelajaran IPA pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada materi pencemaran lingkungan terhadap literasi keberlanjutan dan kemampuan kolaborasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 28 siswa pada masing-masing kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Kelas eksperimen melakukan pembelajaran berbasis proyek pencegahan pencemaran limbah kimia, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Data penelitian literasi keberlanjutan dijaring menggunakan Suistainability Literacy Test (Sulitest) berupa soal pilihan majemuk dengan tiga aspek yaitu, aspek pengetahuan, aspek keterampilan, dan aspek pola pikir. Data penelitian kemampuan kolaborasi dijaring menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert (Collaboration Self-Assessment Tool) berupa self-assessment dan peer-assessment dengan sebelas indikator yaitu, kontribusi, partisipasi, kualitas pekerjaan, manajemen waktu, kerja sama kelompok, persiapan, penyelesaian masalah, dinamika kelompok, interaksi dengan orang lain, fleksibilitas peran, dan refleksi. Soal dan kuesioner diberikan sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan pembelajaran konvensional memberikan pengaruh sama terhadap literasi keberlanjutan siswa dan berpengaruh sama terhadap kemampuan kolaborasi siswa. Meski begitu, terdapat perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada materi pencemaran lingkungan menjadi salah satu solusi pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa secara langsung pada permasalahan nyata yang terjadi disekitar sehingga siswa diperkenalkan tentang situasi dan kondisi lingkungan sejak dini serta menumbuhkan aspek-aspek keberlanjutan yang dibutuhkan untuk masa depan yang lebih baik. Project based learning in this research is defined as form of strategy in learning science on environmental pollution material. This research aims to obtain information about the effect of project based learning on environmental pollution material on students’ sustainability literacy and collaboration ability. This research used Quasi Experimental method with Non Equivalent Control Group Design design. The sample used was class VII student consisted of 28 students in each experimental and control class. The experimental class conducted project based learning to prevent chemical waste pollution, while the control class used conventional learning. The research data of sustainability literacy was collected by Suistainability Literacy Test (Sulitest) in the form of multiple choice questions with three aspect that is knowledge aspect, skills aspect, and mindset aspect. The research data of collaboration ability was collected by Likert scale questionnaire (Collaboration Self-Assessment Tool) in the form of self-assessment and peer-assessment with eleven indicators that is, contribution, participation, quality of work, time management, teamwork, preparation, problem solving, group dynamics, interaction with others, role flexibility, and reflection. Questions and questionnaires were given before and after learning. The results showed project based learning and conventional learning had the same effect on students’ sustainability literacy and the same effect on students’ collaboration ability. Evenmore, this research showed that there’s also increasing score in certain indikator. Project based learning on environmental pollution is one of the learning solutions that involves tudents directly in real problems that occur around, so students are introduced to the situation and environmental conditions early on and foster aspect of sustainability needed for a better future.
