    ABSTRAK
    Stroke ulang merupakan gangguan neurologis yang terjadi karena kurangnya pasokan
    darah ke otak setelah sebelumnya pernah mengalami serangan stroke. Penderita yang tidak
    melakukan modifikasi gaya hidup mudah terkena stroke ulang dan dampaknya lebih parah
    dibandingkan dengan stroke awal. Stroke ulang dapat dicegah dengan cara modifikasi gaya
    hidup, seperti mengubah pola makan, meningkatkan aktivitas fisik, berhenti merokok dan
    tidak mengkonsumsi minuman beralkohol. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui
    gambaran pengetahuan penderita pasca stroke mengenai modifikasi gaya hidup terhadap
    pencegahan stroke ulang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif.
    Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah penderita pasca stroke di tujuh desa di wilayah
    puskesmas tanjungsari. Dikarenakan Puskesmas Tanjungsari merupakan puskesmas
    tertinggi yang mengalami stroke menurut data Dinas Kesehatan Sumedang tahun 2021
    sebanyak 212 orang dan dipilih berdasarkan tujuh desa tertinggi dengan penderita stroke
    menurut data Puskesmas Tanjungsari sebanyak 192 orang. Untuk teknik pengambilan
    sampel menggunakan rumus slovin, sehingga besar sampel sebanyak 66 responden.
    Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang gambaran pengetahuan penderita pasca stroke
    mengenai modifikasi gaya hidup terhadap pencegahan stroke ulang, didapatkan sebagian
    besar 52 responden sebanyak 79% memiliki pengetahuan kurang. Untuk itu sebagai upaya
    untuk mengurangi angka kejadian stroke ulang, diharapkan petugas kesehatan selalu
    memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan khususnya tentang modifikasi gaya hidup untuk
    mengurangi risiko stroke ulang.

    ABSTRACT
    Recorrent stroke is a neurological disorder that occurs due to a lack of blood supply to the
    brain after having previously had a stroke. patients who do not lifestyle modifications are
    easily Recorrent stroke and the impact is more severe than the initia stroke. Recorrent
    stroke can be prevented by means of lifestyle modifications, such as changing diet,
    increasing physical activity, quitting smoking and not consuming alcoholic beverages. The
    purpose of this study is to determine the picture of knowledge of post-stroke sufferers
    regarding lifestyle modifications to the prevention Recorrent stroke. The research method
    used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study was post-stroke sufferers in
    seven villages in the Tanjungsari Health Center. Because the Tanjungsari health center is
    the highest puskesmas who has suffered a stroke according to data from the Sumedang
    Health Office in 2021 as many as 212 people and was selected based on the seven highest
    villages with stroke sufferers according to data from the Tanjungsari health center as many
    as 192 people. The sampling technique used the slovin formula, so that the sample size is
    66 respondents. Based on the results of research on the description of knowledge of poststroke sufferers regarding lifestyle modifications to the prevention Recorrent stroke, most
    of the 52 respondents, 79% had less knowledge. For this reason, as an effort to reduce the
    incidence Recorrent stroke, it is hoped that health workers will always provide health
    counseling, especially about lifestyle modifications to reduce the risk Recorrent stroke.
