ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung perkalian bilangan bulat. Miskonsepsi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal dapat terus terulang jika tidak segera diketahui dan ditemukan faktor yang menyebabkan miskonsepsi agar segera mendapatkan solusi bagaimana cara mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung perkalian bilangan bulat. Masalah miskonsepsi ini terjadi pada siswa kelas II SDN Karangbanar. Metode yang digunakan peneliti yakni studi kasus dengan pendeketan kualitatif. Dengan tes miskonsepsi yang dilakukan kepada siswa kelas II untuk membuktikan bahwa adanya miskonsepsi dalam menyelesaikan soal, serta wawancara sebagai alat untuk menganalisis bagaimana bentuk, faktor, hingga solusi yang tepat untuk siswa, serta dokumentasi berupa rekaman, foto kegiatan penenlitian untuk memperkuat penelitian ini. Data yang didapat dari proses penelitian yakni terdapat 3 bentuk miskonsepsi pada siswa, faktor internal serta eksternal pada siswa, serta solusi untuk setiap bentuk dan faktor yang berbeda dari setiap siswa.

ABSTRACT
The background of this research is there was misconception during the student solve the problem of integer multiplication. Student’s misconception during solve the problem will be reapeted if the misconception is unknown the type, factor and solution of their misconception. This misconception occurs in class II of Karangbanar Elementary School. The method of this research is case study with the qualitative approach. Researcher gave the students some questions of the test to prove there is misconception on the students, then interview with students to analyze their type, factor and solution of misconception, and then with the documenter of the research to strengthen the research. From the research there found three types of misconception, internal and external factors and there are solutions.
