Abstract

SMK Pusat Keunggulan (PK) Tamansiswa Rancaekek merupakan salah satu sekolah yang telah menerapkan kurikulum merdeka belajar, yang mulai diterapkan pada tahun ajaran baru 2021/2022. Dalam penelitian ini, tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka belajar pada program keahlian Teknik Jaringan Komputer dan Telekomunikasi (TJKT) di SMK PK Tamansiswa Rancaekek, dengan mengetahui masalah yang dihadapi saat pelaksanaannya, serta upaya yang dilakukan mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, pengumpulan data yang dilakukan ialah dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara langsung dengan mendatangi sekolah tempat penelitian, dan data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dan divalidasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran banyak memuat perangkat, metode, dan strategi baru yang harus diterapkan di kurikulum merdeka belajar ini; (2) masalah yang dihadapi saat pelaksanaannya adalah dalam mengoptimalkan kurikulum merdeka belajar berkaitan dengan sarana dan prasarana, kompetensi guru, materi ajar, waktu belajar, dan motivasi belajar siswa; (3) upaya untuk mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka belajar adalah mengantisipasi masalah-masalah yang terjadi dengan meningkatkan sarana dan prasana, kompetensi guru, efektifitas materi ajar, efisiensi waktu, dan variasi pembelajaran kepada siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu pembelajaran di sekolah telah menerapkan kurikulum merdeka belajar tetapi belum sepenuhnya terealisasi, dapat dikatakan sekolah masih dalam tahap pengembangan. SMK Center of Excellence (PK) Tamansiswa Rancaekek is one of the schools that has implemented an independent learning curriculum, which will begin to be implemented in the new academic year 2021/2022. In this study, the aim was to find out the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in the Computer and Telecommunication Network Engineering (TJKT) skill program at SMK PK Tamansiswa Rancaekek, by knowing the problems faced during its implementation, as well as the efforts made to overcome these problems. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collection is carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data collection is done directly by visiting the school where the research is conducted, and the data obtained will be analyzed and validated. The results of this study indicate: (1) the implementation of the learning process contains many new tools, methods, and strategies that must be applied in this independent learning curriculum; (2) the problems faced during its implementation were optimizing the independent learning curriculum related to facilities and infrastructure, teacher competence, teaching materials, study time, and student learning motivation; (3) efforts to optimize the implementation of the independent learning curriculum are anticipating problems that occur by improving facilities and infrastructure, teacher competence, effectiveness of teaching materials, time efficiency, and variations in learning to students. The conclusion of this study is that learning in schools has implemented an independent learning curriculum but has not been fully realized, it can be said that the school is still in the development stage.
