Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dan peserta didik kesulitan dalam memahami sifat-sifat bangun datar sehingga tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan media kartu kuartet berbasis bangun datar di kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode educational design research (EDR) model Mc Kenny & Reveas (2012) dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan yaitu terdapat beberapa persoalan dalam pembelajaran bangun datar yaitu peserta didik kesulitan dalam memahami sifat-sifat bangun datar dan kurangnya pemanfaatan media dalam pembelajaran bangun datar, sehingga peneliti mengembangkan media kartu kuartet berbasis bangun datar dalam proses pengembangan media tersebut peneliti memperhatikan ciri-ciri dan fungsi media pembelajaran, ciri-ciri tersebut yakni ciri fiksatif, ciri manipulatif serta ciri distributif dan fungsi media pembelajaran yang di ambil adalah membangkitkan motivasi belajar peserta didik dan menarik minat peserta didik dalam pembelajaran bangun datar. Setelah media kartu kuartet selesai dibuat maka dilakukanlah validasi ahli sampai akhirnya peneliti mendapatkan kelayakan media kartu kuartet berbasis bangun datar tersebut. Respon guru terhadap media yang dikembangkan adalah sebagai berikut: media yang dikembangkan dapat memberikan pengalaman dan pengetahuan, media yang dikembangkan dapat menarik peserta didik. Hasil penelitian di Sekolah Dasar nilai rata-rata pada uji coba pertama adalah 2,6 jika dibulatkan menjadi 3 tiga artinya cukup baik, namun ada beberapa kekurangan yang diperbaiki sehingga dilakukan uji coba kedua dengan nilai uji coba kedua sebesar 3.6 jika dibulatkan menjadi 4 yang artinya media kartu kuartet berbasis bangun datar tersebut layak digunakan. Kata Kunci: Peserta Didik; Bangun Datar; Kartu Kuartet Abstrack This research is backgrounded by the lack of use of learning media and students have difficulty in understanding the properties of flat wakes so that the goal in this study is to develop a flat wake-based quartet card media in grade III elementary schools. The method used in this study is the educational design research (EDR) method model of Mc Kenny & Reveas (2012) with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observations and documentation studies. The results of the analysis obtained are that there are several problems in flat wake learning, namely students have difficulty in understanding the properties of flat wakes and the lack of use of media in flat wake learning, so that researchers develop flat-build-based quartet card media in the process of developing the media, researchers pay attention to the characteristics and functions of learning media, these characteristics are fixative characteristics, manipulative characteristics and distributif characteristics and functions of the learning media taken are to arouse student learning motivation and attract students' interest in flat wake learning. After the quartet card media is completed, expert validation is carried out until finally the researcher gets the feasibility of the flat-based quartet card media. The teacher's response to the developed media is as follows: the developed media can provide experience and knowledge, the developed media can attract learners. The results of the study in elementary schools the average score in the first trial was 2.6 if rounded to 3 three meaning quite good, but there were some shortcomings that were corrected so that the second trial was carried out with a second trial value of 3.6 if rounded to 4 which means that the flat-build-based quartet card media is feasible to use.
