Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah soal penilaian tengah semester yang disusun pendidik tanpa analisis baik secara kuantitatif maupun kualitatif dan mengabaikan persentase soal berdasarkan tingkat berpikir peserta didik serta kesesuaiannya dengan indikator pencapaian kompetensi. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengungkap soal penilaian tersebut untuk ditinjau persentase dan kesesuaian soal dengan indikator pencapaian kompetensi berdasarkan tingkat kognitif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif jenis analisis dokumen. Objek penelitian yaitu soal penilaian tengah semester mata pelajaran matematika kelas VI di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Karangsambung di Kecamatan Cibeureum Kota Tasikmalaya. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terstruktur dan studi dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan pedoman dan lembar analisis soal berupa rubrik/ matriks berdasarkan taksonomi bloom dan tabel rekapitulasi data serta pedoman wawancara. Analisis data meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian ini terungkap bahwa 16 soal yang sesuai dengan indikator kata kerja operasional tingkat kognitif C2 (memahami), sedangkan 4 soal diperoleh ketidaktepatan menentukan kata kerja operasional. Adapun persentase soal yang diperoleh yaitu 100% dari keseluruhan soal berada pada tingkat kognitif C2 (memahami). Dari respon pendidik diperoleh: (1) belum memperhatikan penyusunan penilaian pembelajaran berdasarkan tingkat kognitif serta cenderung mengacu kata kerja operasional pada tataran kompetensi dasar, (2) adanya asumsi terhadap soal yang cenderung sulit dikerjakan peserta didik dan mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skill pada penilaian harian, penilaian tengah semester dan penilaian akhir semester. Dengan demikian, soal penilaian tengah semester hanya dapat mengukur tingkat berpikir peserta didik pada ranah Lower Order Thinking Skill. . Kata Kunci : Soal Penilaian Tengah Semester, Tingkat Kognitif, Matematika Kelas VI The background of this research is the mid-semester assessment questions compiled by educators without quantitative and qualitative analysis and ignore the percentage of questions based on the level of thinking of students and indicators of competency achievement. The purpose is to reveal the assessment questions to review the percentage and suitability of that. The method used is descriptive method of document analysis. The object is the mid-semester assessment of math class VI in at State Elementary School 4 Karangsambung in Cibeureum District, Tasikmalaya City. Data collection techniques through structured interviews and documentation studies. The instrument used is guidelines analysis sheets a rubric / matrix based on Bloom's taxonomy and interview guidelines. Data analysis includes the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results was revealed that 16 questions were accordance with the operational verb indicators at the cognitive level of C2 (understanding), while 4 questions obtained inaccuracies of that. The percentage of questions obtained is 100% of the total questions at the cognitive level C2 (understanding). From the responses of educators, it was obtained: (1) not paying attention to the preparation of learning assessments based on cognitive levels and tending to refer to operational verbs at the level of basic competence, (2) there are assumptions about questions that tend to be have difficulty solving problems based on Higher Order Thinking Skills in daily, middle and end-of-semester assessments. Thus, mid-semester assessment questions can only measure the level of thinking of students in the Lower Order Thinking Skill. Keywords : Mid-Semester Assessment Questions, Cognitive Levels, Math VI
