Abstract
Bahan ajar merupakan suatu komponen utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Keterbatasan bahan ajar yang bermuatan ESD merupakan salah satu peluang mengembangkan e-modul bermuatan ESD untuk menghadapi tantangan abad 21. Salah satu tantangan abad 21 yaitu memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kesadaran keberlajutan untuk membentuk masyarakat dengan perilaku hidup berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis adanya peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kesadaran berkelanjutan siswa setelah digunakan e-modul materi pencemaran lingkungan bermuatan ESD. Metode penelitian ini adalah mix method dengan exploratory sequential design. Sampel dari penelitian ini berjumlah 32 siswa dari salah satu SMP di Kota Bandung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar observasi, tes essay, angket, dan lembar review. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) karakteristik e-modul yang dikembangkan yaitu e-modul bermuatan aspek ESD, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kesadaran keberlanjutan, ditinjau dari hasil review dengan karakteristik self constructional, self contained, stand alone, adaptive dan user friendly, serta ditinjau dari penggunaan program dengan karakteristik menggunakan akses internet secara penuh (full Online) 2) kelayakan e-modul termasuk kedalam kategori“sangat layak” 3) terdapat peningkatan berpikir kritis dengan N-gain sebesar 0,41 dengan kategori sedang, 4) terdapat peningkatan pada kesadaran berkelanjutan siswa dengan N-gain sebesar 0,35 masuk kategori sedang. Teaching materials are a major component in the learning process. The limitations of teaching materials containing ESD are an opportunity to develop e-modules with ESD content to meet the challenges of the 21st century. One of the challenges of the 21st century is having critical thinking skills and sustainable development to form a society with sustainable living behavior. This study aims to analyze the improvement of students' critical thinking skills and sustainability consciousness after using the e-modules with ESD content environmental pollution material e-module. This research method is a mix method with exploratory sequential design. The sample of this study amounted to 32 students from one junior high school in the city of Bandung. Data was collected through observation sheets, essay tests, questionnaires, and review sheets. The results of this study are: 1) the characteristics of the e-module developed, namely the e-module contains aspects of ESD, critical thinking skills and consciousness of sustainability, in terms of the results of a review with the characteristics of self-construction, self-contained, stand-alone, adaptive and user friendly, and in terms of the use of programs with the characteristics of using full internet access (full online) 2) feasibility e-module is included in the "very feasible" category 3) there is an increase in critical thinking with score N-gain of 0.41 in the medium category, 4) there is an increase in students' sustainability consciousness with score N-gain of 0.35 in the medium category.
