Abstract

Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi pelopor tenaga pendidik, maka program studi PTB membekali mahasiswanya dengan berbagai kompetensi sebagai calon guru melalui Program Pengalaman Lapangan Satuan Pendidikan (PPLSP). Sebelum melaksanakan kegiatan PPLSP, mahasiswa PTB harus menyiapkan diri sebagai calon guru dalam menguasai pengetahuan, serta keterampilan dasar mengajar dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui gambaran umum pembelajaran praktik microteaching pada mahasiswa PTB, (2) mengetahui gambaran umum keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa PTB dalam pelaksanaan program pengalaman lapangan di SMK program keahlian teknik bangunan, (3) mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran praktik microteaching terhadap keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa PTB dalam pelaksanaan program pengalaman lapangan di SMK program keahlian teknik bangunan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu angket atau kuesioner dengan penskoran dibuat menggunakan skala likert. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) pembelajaran praktik microteaching memiliki tingkat capaian responden dalam kategori baik dengan nilai persentase sebesar 81.2%, (2) keterampilan dasar mahasiswa PTB dalam pelaksanaan program pengalaman lapangan di SMK program keahlian teknik bangunan memiliki tingkat capaian responden dalam kategori baik dengan nilai persentase sebesar 80.47%, (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pembelajaran praktik microteaching terhadap keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa PTB dalam pelaksanaan program pengalaman lapangan di SMK program keahlian teknik bangunan. Indonesian University of Education as one of the pioneering universities for educators, the PTB study program equips its students with various competencies as prospective teachers through the Field Experience Program (PPLSP). Before carrying out PPLSP activities, PTB students must prepare themselves as prospective teachers in mastering knowledge, as well as basic teaching skills in managing the learning process. The objectives of this study are (1) knowing the general description of microteaching practice learning in PTB students, (2) knowing the general description of the basic teaching skills of PTB students in the implementation of the field experience program at SMK building engineering expertise program, (3) knowing the influence of microteaching practice learning to the basic teaching skills of PTB students in the implementation of the field experience program at SMK building engineering expertise program. The research method used in this study is an associative descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire or questionnaire with scoring made using a likert scale. The results of this study show that (1) microteaching practice learning has the level of respondents' achievement in the good category with a percentage value of 81.2%, (2) the basic skills of PTB students in the implementation of the field experience program at SMK building engineering expertise program have a respondent achievement rate in the good category with a percentage value of 80.47%, (3) there is a significant influence between learning microteaching practices to the basic teaching skills of PTB students in the implementation of the field experience program at SMK building engineering expertise program.
