Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada pentingnya meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam mempelajari matematika bagi siswa SD untuk mendukung kemampuan matematis selanjutnya. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SD maka peneliti melakukan penelitian mengenai efektivitas model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan berbantuan video pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk efektivitas model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan berbantuan video pembelajaran apabila dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional/ceramah terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas IV SD Negeri di kecamatan Cimalaka dan Sumedang Utara, Kabupaten Sumedang. Sampel penelitiannya yaitu SDN Sukamaju sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN Karangpawulang sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pedoman wawancara, lembar monitoring, soal tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, dan jurnal harian. Dari hasil perlakuan terhadap siswa selama tiga pertemuan menunjukkan bahwa: Pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan berbantuan video pembelajaran dapat dikatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa namun belum tentu lebih efektif jika dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional/ceramah. This study is to support further mathematical abilities in elementary school, it is important to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The research was conducted on the effectiveness of flipped classrooms with learning videos to improve elementary school students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of flipped classrooms with assisted learning videos on teaching mathematics to elementary school students. A quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control groups was used. A sample of fourth-grade elementary school students in Cimalaka and North Sumedang sub-districts, in the Sumedang district, ware chosen to collect data. Students from SDN Sukamaju were chosen as the experimental class, while students from SDN Karangpawulang were chosen as the control class. In this study, guidelines, such as interviews, monitoring sheets, and mathematical concept tests, were used. The results of the treatment of students show that: Learning that uses the flipped classroom with learning videos can be said to be effective in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts but not necessarily more effective when compared to conventional methods.
