Abstract
Latar belakang: Karyawan lepas perusahaan yang bergerak pada sektor konstruksi, merupakan suatu profesi yang berisiko tinggi dan berbahaya, dalam pekerjaannya memiliki beban kerja yang berat. Tingginya beban dan tuntutan kerja karyawan dapat berdampak negatif pada performa kerjanya. Perasaan tertekan dapat memicu sikap negatif yang mengarah pada gejala burnout. Salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak pada sektor konstruksi adalah PT.Wijaya Karya. Saat ini perusahaan tersebut bergerak pada proyek negara Indonesia yaitu pembangunan infrastruktur jalan tol. Infrastruktur merupakan salah satu modal utama bagi suatu negara untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi, sehingga memerlukan target pencapaian yang cukup significant. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran burnout pada karyawan lepas PT.Wijaya Karya, dilihat dari emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, dan personal accomplishment. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik cluster random sampling, menggunakan instrumen MBI-GS. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan 97,06% karyawan mengalami burnout. 100% karyawan mengalami emotional exhaustion dan depersonalization tingkat berat. 5,88% karyawan mengalami low personal accomplishment tingkat berat, 17,65% tingkat sedang, dan 76,47% tingkat ringan. Kesimpulan: Sebagian besar karyawan lepas sektor konstruksi PT.Wijaya Karya cabang wilayah Desa Mulyasari mengalami burnout hingga mencapai 97,06 %; emotional exhaustion 100% mengalami tingkat berat, depersonalization 100% tingkat berat, dan personal accomplishment 5,88 % tingkat berat, 17,65 % tingkat sedang, dan 76,47 % tingkat ringan. Background: Freelance employees of companies engaged in the construction sector, is a high-risk and dangerous profession, in their work has a heavy workload. The high workload and demands of employees can have a negative impact on their work performance. Feelings of depression can trigger negative attitudes that lead to burnout symptoms. One of the companies engaged in the construction sector is PT. Wijaya Karya. Currently the company is engaged in the Indonesian state project, namely the construction of toll road infrastructure. Infrastructure is one of the main assets for a country to increase economic growth, so it requires quite a significant achievement target. Goal: This study aims to determine the description of burnout in freelance employees of PT. Wijaya Karya, seen from emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment. Methods: This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with cluster random sampling technique, using the MBI-GS instrument. Results: The results showed that 97.06% of employees experienced burnout. 100% of employees experience severe emotional exhaustion and depersonalization. 5.88% of employees experienced a severe level of low personal accomplishment, 17.65% moderate level, and 76.47% mild level. Conclusion: Most of the freelancers in the construction sector at PT. Wijaya Karya, the Mulyasari Village branch, experienced burnout up to 97.06%; emotional exhaustion experienced 100% severe level, 100% severe level of depersonalization, and personal accomplishment 5.88% severe level, 17.65% moderate level, and 76.47% mild level.
