Abstract
HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) merupakan kemampuan untuk berpikir pada tingkatan yang lebih tinggi. HOTS menjadi salah satu standar penilaian untuk kurikulum 2013 yang saat ini digunakan di Indonesia. Literasi sains adalah kemampuan individu dalam mengaplikasikan konsep sains untuk menyelesaikan isu-isu di lingkungannya secara ilmiah. Konsep soal HOTS berorientasi literasi sains merupkan bentuk evaluasi soal-soal HOTS yang berorientasi literasi sains yaitu soal yang menguji kemampuan peserta didik berpikir kritis, penyelesaian masalah, memberikan argumentasi, mengambil keputusan, yang bersifat kontekstual berdasarkan pertimbangan ilmiah. Materi yang digunakan yaitu materi organ tubuh manusia di kelas V semester 1. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soal HOTS berorientasi literasi sains yang valid dan reliabel. Dari hasil analisis penggunaan soal HOTS di sekolah dasar, kenyataannya masih jauh dari harapan. Instrumen soal HOTS yang tersedia di sekolah pula sangat terbatas, salah satu penyebabnya yaitu kurangnya kemampuan dan kemauan guru untuk mengembangkan soal. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Reseacrh and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Development and Disseminate), metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Mix Method atau dengan metode penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Setelah validasi soal kepada ahli dan dinyatakan valid, soal kemudian diuji cobakan di kelas V SDN Pasirhuni, Cimanggung, Sumedang, Jawa Barat. Dari penelitian ini menghasilkan 13 soal HOTS berorientasi literasi sains dimana 8 soal pilihan ganda dan 5 soal esai yang valid dan reliabel. Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, Soal, HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill), orientasi, literasi sains HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) is a skill to think in a higher level. HOTS become a standar of assessment for 2013’s curriculum that is used in Indonesia. Sains literacy is an individu skill in apply sains concept to resolve their environment problems scientifically. The concept of sains literacy oriented HOTS test is an evaluation in a test form that use HOTS questions in a sains literacy which is testing students ability of critical thinking, problem solving, giving an argument, and make decisions, it is contextual and based on scientific considerations. The material that is used is human organs in grade V semester 1. This research purpose is to develop a valid and reliable sains literacy oriented HOTS test. From the analysis, the reality of the implementation HOTS test in elementary school is really far from the expectation. The availability of HOTS test instrument in school are limited, because the problem is a lack of teacher’s ability and will to develop test instrument. The research design of this research is research and development with 4D model (Define, Design, Development and Disseminate), the research method of this research is mix method or it is using qualitative and quantitative researches. After the test instrument is valid by the expert, after that the instrument were tested to student of grade V SDN Pasirhuni, Cimanggung, Sumedang, West Java. The result of this research is a 13 valid and reliable questions of sains literacy oriented HOTS test, which are 8 multiple choice questions, and 5 essay questions.
