Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Tuberkulosis adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh Mycobacterium tuberkulosis melalui droplet yang terhirup dari penderita dan salah satu penyebab terjadinya penurunan kualitas tidur pada penderita tuberkulosis dikarenakan adanya gejala yang timbul seperti sesak, nyeri dada dan gejala lainnya. Kualitas tidur merupakan kondisi segar dan bugar ketika seseorang terbangun dari tidurnya tanpa terlihat lemah dan lesu. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran kualitas tidur penderita tuberkulosis. Desain penelitian menggunakan survei deskriptif, teknik sampling yaitu dengan menggunakan Insidental Sampling, dengan responden berjumlah 31 responden, dilakukan pada bulan April 2022 di Poli DOTS Puskesmas Cimalaka, pengambilan data melalui kuesioner Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index PSQI. Hasil penelitian menyatakan penderita tuberkulosis sebagian besar (67,7%) mengalami kualitas tidur yang buruk sebanyak 21 responden dan hampir setengahnya (32,2 %) mengalami kualitas tidur baik sebanyak 10 responden dan hasil setiap komponen yakni: komponen kualitas tidur subjektif hampir setengahnya (83.9%) mengalami kualitas tidur subjektif cukup baik, komponen durasi tidur hampir setengahnya (48.4%) dengan kategori cukup baik, komponen gangguan tidur sebagian besar (54.8%) dengan kategori cukup baik, komponen latensi tidur hampir setengahnya (41.9%) dengan kategori cukup baik, komponen efisiensi tidur hampir seluruhnya (77.4%) dengan kategori sangat baik, komponen penggunaan obat hampir seluruhnya (96.8%) tidak mengkonsumsi obat tidur dan komponen disfungsi siang hari hampir setengahnya (45.2%) dengan kategori cukup buruk.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini penderita tuberkulosis di Puskesmas Cimalaka mayoritas mengalami kualitas tidur yang buruk. Saran peneliti menyarankan untuk meningkatkan penyuluhan atau pendidikan kesehatan mengenai kualitas tidur yang baik untuk penderita tuberkulosis. One of the symptoms is the decreased of sleep quality in a tuberculosis patient’s because of hard breathing symptoms, chest pain, and other symptoms. Sleep conditions are a feeling fresh and fit when a person wakeup from sleep without showing weakness and lethargy. The Research Purposes are to know an overview quality of sleep among tuberculosis patients. The Method of this research is using a descriptive survey with a sampling technique using Insidental Sampling among 31 respondents. Implements on April 2022 at DOTS-Polyclinic Cimalaka Public Health Centre, and data collection with the questionnaire Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The research results stated that most of the tuberculosis patients (67.7%) experienced poor sleep quality as many as 21 respondents and almost half (32.2%) experienced good sleep quality as many as 10 respondents and the results of each component were: almost half of the sleep quality component (83, 9%) ) experienced a fairly good sleep quality, almost half of the sleep duration component (48.4%) in the fairly good category, the majority of sleep disturbance components (54.8%) were in the fairly good category, the sleep latent component was almost half (41.9%) in the fairly good category, the sleep efficiency component almost entirely (77.4%) in the very good category, the drug use component almost entirely (96.8%) did not use sleep and the component was damaged throughout the day (45, 2%) with a pretty bad category. The Conclusion of this research is patients with tuberculosis in Cimalaka Public Health Center having poor sleep quality. The Recommendations based on the research is to increase health education or socialization regarding good sleep quality for tuberculosis sufferers. Keywords: Sleep Quality, Tuberculosis
