Abstract
Kurangnya kesadaran pendidik terhadap penggunaan media saat pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19 menjadi salah satu faktor dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran video pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada materi perpindahan kalor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian pre- eksperimen menggunakan desain one group pre-test and post-test design. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa pedoman observasi, angket, dan tes. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah seorang pendidik dan 30 peserta didik kelas V di SDN Gunungsari yang terletak di Kecamatan Sumedang Utara, Kabupaten Sumedang. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diperoleh hasil, bahwa 1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran peserta didik kelas V menggunakan video pembelajaran pada materi perpindahan kalor termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik dalam pelaksanaannya 2) Pembelajaran menggunakan video pembelajaran memiliki peran terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik serta dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas V pada materi perpindahan kalor sesudah diberikan perlakuan secara signifikan. 3) Pembelajaran menggunakan video pembelajaran memiliki peran terhadap penguasaan konsep peserta didik serta dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep peserta didik kelas V pada materi perpindahan kalor sesudah diberikan perlakuan secara signifikan. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi yang dapat berguna bagi berbagi pihak seperti peserta didik, pendidik, maupun sekolah agar mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep. The lack of awareness of educators on the use of media learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was one of the factors for conducting this research. This study aims to see the role of learning videos on learning motivation and mastery of students' concepts on heat transfer material. The method used in this study is an experimental type of pre-experimental research using a one group pre-test and post-test design. The instruments in this study were in the form of observation guidelines, questionnaires and tests. The participants in this study were an educator and 30 fifth grade students at SDN Gunungsari located in North Sumedang District, Sumedang Regency. Based on this research, the results showed that 1) The implementation of learning for grade V students using learning videos on heat transfer material was included in the very good category in its implementation 2) Learning using learning videos had a role in students' learning motivation and could increase the learning motivation of grade V students on the heat transfer material after being given treatment significantly. 3) Learning using learning videos has a role in students' conceptual mastery and can improve students' conceptual mastery of grade V on heat transfer material after being given significant treatment. This research has implications that can be useful for various parties such as students, educators, and schools to be able to increase learning motivation and mastery of concepts.
