Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang wujud dan makna pragmatis kalimat tunggal luas yang ada dalam novel Bèntang Hariring karya Dian Hèndrayana. Hal tersebut selaras dengan tujuan penelitian ini yang mendeskripsikan wujud dan makna pragmatisnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data yang diolah menggunakan teknik analisis unsur langsung. Hasil dalam penelitian ini terdapat 98 kalimat tunggal, berdasarkan wujud dan makna pragmatisnya terdapat 1) kalimat wujud deklratif ada 78 termasuk 51 makna deklaratif pemberitahuan, 26 makna deklaratif penegasan, dan 1 makna deklaratif ajakan. 2) kalimat wujud interogatif ada 7 kalimat termasuk 1 makna interogatif waktu, 2 makna interogatif rasa, 2 makna interogatif perilaku, 1 makna interogatif asal dan 1 makna interogatif tempat. 3) kalimat wujud imperatif ada 6, termasuk 2 makna imperatif suruhan, 1 makna imperatif paksaan, 2 makna imperatif anjuran dan 1 makna imperatif ajakan. 4) kalimat wujud aklamatif ada 7 kalimat, termasuk 2 makna aklamatif syukur, 3 makna aklamatif kekhawatiran, 1 makna aklamatif bahagia dan 1 makna aklamatif gembira. This study discusses the form and pragmatic meaning of single sentences in the novel Bèntang Hariring by Dian Hèndrayana. This is in line with the purpose of this study which describes its form and pragmatic meaning. This study uses an approach with a descriptive method. The data is processed using indirect analysis techniques. The results in this study contained 98 single sentences, based on their form and pragmatic meaning there were 1) 78 declarative sentences including 51 declarative meanings of notification, 26 declarative meanings of affirmation, and 1 declarative meaning of invitation. 2) interrogative form sentences, there are 7 sentences including 1 interrogative meaning of time, 2 interrogative meanings of feel, 2 interrogative meanings of behavior, 1 interrogative meaning of origin and 1 interrogative meaning of place. 3) There are 6 imperative sentences, including 2 imperative imperative meanings, 1 imperative imperative meaning, 2 suggestion imperative meaning and 1 invitation imperative meaning. 4) there are 7 sentences of acclamative form, including 2 acclamative meanings of gratitude, 3 happy acclamative meanings, 1 happy acclamative meaning and 1 cheerf of acclamative meaning.
