Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada aspek pendidikan. Di mana pembelajaran yang semula berlangsung di sekolah secara tatap muka, kini dilaksanakan di rumah masing-masing melalui pembelajaran online. Kelemahan pembelajaran online ialah minimnya interaksi antara peserta didik dengan guru, dengan teman serta dengan lingkungan sekitar yang berpotensi menyebabkan kemampuan interaksi sosial mereka tidak terlatih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran online terhadap kemampuan interaksi sosial peserta didik SMA PGRI 1 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuisioner pada 67 peserta didik sebagai sampel. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran online berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan interaksi sosial peserta didik. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran online di SMA PGRI 1 Bandung menunjukkan hasil yang baik pada aspek akademik, namun kemampuan interaksi sosial peserta didik pada beberapa aspek menunjukkan hasil yang tidak begitu baik. Faktor yang menyebabkan hal tersebut ialah minimnya interaksi selama pembelajaran online, interaksi yang dilakukan secara virtual kurang bermakna (tidak dapat menghadirkan emosi, perasaan, dan ekspresi), peserta didik yang memasuki jenjang sekolah baru tidak mengenal baik guru dan teman karena telah satu tahun lebih tercatat sebagai peserta didik baru namun belum pernah merasakan sekolah tatap muka, dan adanya kebijakan seperti physical distancing serta PPKM membuat interaksi di luar sekolah juga mengalami pembatasan. The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the education aspect. Where learning that originally took place at school face-to-face, is now carried out in their respective homes through online learning. The weakness of online learning is the lack of interaction between students and teachers, with friends and with the surrounding environment which has the potential to cause their social interaction skills to be untrained. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of online learning on the social interaction skills of students at SMA PGRI 1 Bandung. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 67 students as samples. The results of the study indicate that online learning has an effect on students' social interaction skills. The implementation of online learning at SMA PGRI 1 Bandung showed good results in the academic aspect, but in the aspect of interaction during learning the results showed the opposite. The social interaction ability of students in several aspects also showed not so good results. Factors that cause this are the lack of interaction during online learning, virtual interactions are less meaningful (cannot present emotions, feelings, and expressions), students entering a new school level do not know both teachers and friends because they have been recorded for more than a year. as new students but have never experienced face-to-face school, and the existence of policies such as physical distancing and PPKM makes interactions outside of school also experience restrictions.
