Abstract

Other than that, it is also observed by viewing the influence of religiosity, sexes and the Islamic boarding school’s environment on the effectiveness of TPG. The study is further analyzed by employing both analysis of Covariance and Two-way Anova. This study results in a number of findings. First, Gestalt Playing Technique (TPG) is proven to be effective in improving the adaptability of Islamic boarding school’s students in both Islamic boarding schools wich become the focus of the study. Second, Gestalt Playing Technique (TPG) is influenced by religiosity. Third, Gestalt Playing Technique (TPG) is not influenced by sexes and Islamic boarding school’s environment. Therefore, TPG can be considered to be an alternative approach in order to improve the adaptability of Islamic boarding school’s students to be applied in either the Salafiyah Islamic boarding schoolor that in the modern one.
