Abstract
Acompany's success to achieve its target is mainly determained by the working performance of itsemployees. If the performance is low, the factors that encourage the employees to work well are checked; one of the fectors is their motivation to get satisfaction of their jobs. That's why a survey is conducted on the influence of the working motivation and the working satisfaction on the working performance ofthe employees ofPT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bandung 40000, with the aim ofknowing the level oftheir working motivation, working satisfaction and working performance and measuring what and how much the effects of their motivation on their performance as well as the effects of their working satisfactionon their performance. The objects ofthe survey are two independent variables named working motivation (Xj) and working satisfaction (X2) and one dependent variables that is working performance ofthe employees. Whereas the subject ofthe survey is the employees of the PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bandung 40000. The survey is descriptive and verifikatifwith descriptive survey and explanatory survey method. The data used are primary and secondary data collected from the survey and the library research. The population of the survey is 295 employees of the PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bandung 40000, while the sample is 75 calculated using Slovin Formula. The sampling technique is simple random samplig (SRS) and the analysis technique isdouble linear corelation and regresion. From the statistics we learn that the working motivatin has an influence on the working performance that is 0,507. Furthermore the working satisfaction has also an influence on working performance that is 0,471. resultingly working performance ofPT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bandung 40000. Based on the survey, we conclude that the higher the motivation and the working satisfaction, the better the employees working performance of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bandung 40000. In addition to the conclusion, some suggestions are presented: to improve the working performance of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bandung 40000, the company should give not only working motivation and satsfaction to the employees, but also upgrade their knowledge, skills and education. By all means the company could give wide opportunities to their employees to attend courses, trainings and workshops both formally and informally, nationally as well as internationally.
