Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi dengan adanya pandemi virus corona-19 yang yang berdampak ke seluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia, dimana bidang pendidikan juga ikut terdampak karena kebijakan pemerintah yang memerintahkan untuk diberlakukannya menjaga jarak dan pembelajaran dilakukan di rumah masing-masing. Hal tersebut menyebabkan masalah pada komunikasi yang terjadi antara pendidik dengan peserta didik, dimana bergantinya pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh. Sebagai contoh, pendidik di SDN Cengkong 1 menggunakan komunikasi via whatsapp untuk hanya melakukan presensi dan memberikan bahan ajar yang menyebabkan pembelajaran tidak efektif untuk hasil belajar. Pembelajaran jarak jauh yang efektif hakikatnya harus meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik sesuai dengan indikator yang telah di tentukan. Salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah komunikasi tersebut dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran jarak jauh synchronous. Model pembelajaran synchronous ini dapat dilakukan dengan bantuan aplikasi multimedia cisco webex. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran synchronous terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik SDN Cengkong 1. Untuk sampel penelitiannya yakni peserta didik kelas IV dengan jumlah 37 peserta didik yang terdiri dari perempuan 20 dan laki-laki 17 yang dijadikan kelas eksperimen. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah One sample t test menggunakan aplikasi pengolah data SPSS 25. nilai t hitung dari hasil uji One sample t test data adalah 4,702, > 2.028094. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya perbedaan hasil belajar antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pemebelajaran jarak jauh synchronous, hasil belajar meningkat. Dengan demikian model pemebelajaran jarak jauh synchronous efektif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik SDN cengkong 1. The research was motivated by the corona-19 virus pandemic which had an impact on the whole world including Indonesia, where the education sector was also affected due to government policies that ordered social distancing and learning to be carried out at home. This causes problems in communication that occurs between educators and students, where face-to-face learning changes to distance learning. For example, educators at SDN Cengkong 1 use communication via whatsapp to only make attendance and provide teaching materials that make learning ineffective for learning outcomes. Effective distance learning in essence must improve student learning outcomes in accordance with predetermined indicators. One alternative to overcome these communication problems is to use a synchronous distance learning model. This synchronous learning model can be done with the help of the Cisco webex multimedia application. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the synchronous learning model on the learning outcomes of students at SDN Cengkong 1. The research sample was fourth grade students with a total of 37 students consisting of 20 women and 17 men who were used as the experimental class. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with quasi experimental research methods. The data analysis technique used in this research is One sample t test using the SPSS 25 data processing application. The calculated t value from the results of the One sample t test data is 4.702, > 2.028094. it can be concluded that there is a difference in learning outcomes between before and after using the synchronous distance learning model, learning outcomes increase. Thus the synchronous distance learning model is effective on the learning outcomes of students at SDN Cengkong 1.
