Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keprihatinan terhadap permasalahan interaksi sosial khususnya mengenai kelemahan keterampilan komunikatif siswa. Padahal keterampilan komunikatif merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting diterapkan dalam berinteraksi dengan siswa lain, karena hal ini dapat menciptakan hubungan yang harmonis dan menghindari terjadinya konflik antar siswa. Berdasarkan observasi awal di kelas VIII-8 SMP Negeri 43 Bandung, terdapat adanya permasalahan mengenai kelemahan keterampilan komunikatif siswa dalam berinteraksi dengan siswa lain. Untuk menanggapi hal tersebut, diperlukan adanya penyusunan strategi pembelajaran dalam pelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 43 Bandung sedangkan yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-8. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik two stay two stray dalam pelajaran IPS. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi penilaian keterampilan komunikatif dan kooperatif siswa, dan dicatat dalam catatan lapangan. Untuk teknik pengumpulan data digunakan pedoman observasi, catatan lapangan, dan pedoman wawancara. Selanjutnya data tersebut diolah dan dianalisis untuk mengetahui perkembangan keterampilan komunikatif siswa. Pembelajaran selama penelitian, pertama dimulai dengan menentukan SK/KD dan penyusunan RPP, kedua menerangkan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik two stay two stray beserta indikator-indikator keterampilan komunikatif yang akan dikembangkan, ketiga menunjukkan adanya perkembangan keterampilan komunikatif siswa pada siklus 1 sampai siklus 3, keempat merefleksikan hasil pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan teknik two stay two stray. Kesimpulan, keterampilan komunikatif siswa mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan pada siklus 3. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya, peneliti berharap peneliti selanjutnya dapat meneruskan kembali penelitian ini dan dapat mengembangkan metode yang lebih baik, agar mencapai hasil yang lebih maksimal. This research was motivated by a concern for social interaction issues, especially regarding the weakness of the communicative skills of students. Whereas communicative skills was a very important skill implemented in interaction with other students, as this can create a harmonious relationship and avoid conflicts between students. Based on preliminary observations in class VIII - 8 SMP Negeri 43 Bandung, there was a problem concerning the existence of weaknesses in the students' communicative skills to interact with other students. To respond to this, it is necessary to develop a strategy of learning in social studies. This research was conducted in SMP 43 Bandung while the subject of the study were students of class VIII - 8. The method used in this study is action research to implement cooperative learning model two stay two stray technique in social studies. The instrument used is the observation sheet communicative and cooperative skills assessment of students, and recorded in field notes. Data collection techniques used for observation, field notes, and interview guides. Furthermore, the data is processed and analyzed to determine the development of students' communicative skills. Learning during the study, the first begins with determining SK/KD and preparation of lesson plans, the second describes the application of cooperative learning techniques and their two stay two stray indicators communicative skills to be developed, the third shows the development of communicative skills of students in cycle 1 to cycle 3, fourth IPS reflect learning outcomes by using two stay two stray. In conclusion, the communicative skills of students experiencing significant growth in cycle 3. Suggestions for further research, researchers hope to continue further research and re- research can develop better methods, in order to achieve maximum results.
