Abstract
This thesis is entitled “Effectiveness of Personnel Archive Management in the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development of Purwakarta Regency”. This study aims to describe the extent to which the effectiveness of the management of personnel records in the Agency for personnel and Human Resources Development in Purwakarta Regency, the obstacles in managing the dynamics of personnel records, and the efforts made in overcoming obstacles in the management of personnel records. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the management of personnel dynamic in the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development in Purwakarta Regency consist of creation, use, maintance, and depreciation. There are inhibiting factors in the management of personnel dynamis archives, such as human resources, facilities and infrastructure, and there is no procedure for archive management activities shrinkage. So that personnel archive management activities have not been implemented effectively.
