Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang didapat dari hasil observasi pada saat pra penelitian, permasalahan yang ditemukan pada saat peneliti melaksanakan PLSP yaitu masih rendahnya minat belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Data tersebut diperkuat oleh data dari bertanya langsung kepada guru mata pelajaran bahwa minat belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran geografi kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Kartika XIX 1 Bandung masih rendah. Tujuan penilitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan model Pembelajaran discovery learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, pre tes dan pos tes, serta angket. analisis data terdiri dari data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I 13 aspek poin skenario model pembelajaran discovery learning tidak terlaksana sedangkan pada siklus II semua aspek yaitu 16 poin terlaksana dalam proses pembelajaran. Peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yaitu 60,7% minat belajar pada siklus I menjadi 76,78% pada siklus II. Pada hasil belajar terjadi peningkatan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik dari 54,3 % atau 19 peserta didik tuntas dari 35 peserta didik pada siklus I menjadi 85,7% atau 30 peserta didik tuntas pada siklus II. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik. This research is backgrounded by problems obtained from the results of observations during pre-research, problems found when researchers carry out PLSP, namely the low interest in learning and learning outcomes of students. The data is strengthened by data from asking directly to subject teachers that the interest in learning and learning outcomes of students in geography class XI social studies 2 SMA Kartika XIX 1 Bandung is still low. The purpose of this research is to increase the interest in learning and learning outcomes of students with the Discovery Learning model. This research is a class action research carried out in 2 cycles. This research data collection technique uses observation, documentation, pre-test and test posts, as well as questionnaires. data analysis consists of quantitative data and qualitative data. The results showed that in cycle I 13 aspects of the discovery learning model scenario were not carried out while in cycle II all aspects, namely 16 points, were carried out in the learning process. The increase in student learning outcomes was 60.7% of interest in learning in cycle I to 76.78% in cycle II. In learning outcomes, there was an increase in the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes from 54.3% or 19 complete students in cycle I to 85.7% or 30 students completed in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning learning model can increase the interest in learning and learning outcomes of students.
