Abstract

ABSTRAK Manusia tercipta dengan berbagai potensi yang perlu dikembangkan secara seimbang melalui pendidikan. Pendidikan saat ini banyak mengambil teori Barat dalam memahami manusia khususnya guru sebagai penggerak kemajuan dan perkembangan pendidikan. Hal ini berakibat pada ketidaksesuaiannya hasil pembelajaran. Maka, peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian bagaimana konsep guru pendidikan agama Islam ideal. Tujuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan konsep guru pendididkan agama Islam ideal berdasarkan perbandingan konsep manusia menurut Al-Ghazali dan Plato. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep manusia menurut Al-Ghazali dan Plato memiliki banyak kesamaan. Keduanya ingin menuntun manusia untuk mencapai kebahagiaan sempurna. Persamaan pemikiran Al-Ghazali dan Plato tentang manusia terletak pada pemikiran tentang komponen manusia, pentingnya jiwa yang bersih, kebahagiaan akhirat, pendidikan, dan mengenal Tuhan. Sedangkan perbedaannya terletak pada landasan konsep manusia terdiri dari jiwa dan raga, pembagian jiwa, serta upaya pencapaian dan bentuk kebahagiaan yang sempurna. Kemudian konsep guru PAI ideal berdasarkan perbandingan konsep manusia menurut Al-Ghazali dan Plato, yaitu; (1) selalu membersihkan jiwa agar menjadi teladan sebab pendidikan akan efektif melalui keteladanan (contoh), (2) tidak menomorsatukan upah sebab yang terpenting adalah kebahagiaan di akhirat, (3) taat beribadah sebagai bentuk mencintai Tuhan, (4) cerdas, (5) menasihati murid untuk menjaga keutamaan jiwanya, (6) mengajak murid untuk meluruskan niat, (7) mengarahkan murid untuk beribadah sebagai bentuk mencintai Tuhan, (8) mengarahkan mencari ilmu dan mengoptimalkan fungsi akal, (9) memiliki sifat kasih sayang, dan (10) memahami karakteristik muridnya. Peneliti menyarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya, untuk melakukan kajian tentang konsep guru PAI ideal dan manusia menurut tokoh-tokoh lain. Kata Kunci : guru PAI, manusia, pendidikan ABSTRACT Humans are created with various potentials that need to be developed in a balanced way through education. Education currently takes a lot of Western theory in understanding humans, especially teachers as a driver of progress and development of education. This results in discrepancies in learning outcomes. So, researchers are interested in researching how the concept of an ideal Islamic religious education teacher is. The purpose of this study is to reveal the concept of an ideal Islamic religious education teacher based on a comparison of human concepts according to Al-Ghazali and Plato. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study. The results show that the human concept according to Al-Ghazali and Plato has many similarities. Both want to lead humans to achieve perfect happiness. The similarity of Al-Ghazali and Plato's thoughts about humans lies in thinking about the human component, the importance of a clean soul, happiness in the afterlife, education, and knowing God. While the difference lies in the basic human concept consisting of body and soul, the division of the soul, as well as efforts to achieve and form a perfect form of happiness. Then the concept of an ideal PAI teacher is based on a comparison of human concepts according to Al-Ghazali and Plato, namely; (1) always cleanse the soul to be a role model because education will be effective through example (example), (2) do not prioritize wages because the most important thing is happiness in the afterlife, (3) obedient to worship as a form of loving God, (4) intelligent, (5 ) advises students to maintain the virtues of their souls, (6) invites students to straighten their intentions, (7) directs students to worship as a form of loving God, (8) directs seeking knowledge and optimizes the function of reason, (9) has compassion, and ( 10) understand the characteristics of the students. The researcher suggests further research, to conduct a study on the concept of ideal PAI teachers and humans according to other figures. Keywords: PAI teacher, human, education
