Abstract

Pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sangat diperlukan pendekatan saintifik agar pembelajaran tidak terkesan monton, pendekatan ini sangat cocok karena akan melatih motivasi siswa dalam mencari ilmu pengetahuan yang lebih dalam lagi. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menelaah pelaksanaan dari pendekatan saintifik dalam melatih motivasi siswa. Peneliti melakukan wawancara pada guru kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Bandung, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Hasil tinjauan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik sangat relevan diterapkan terutama pada siswa jurusan MIPA atau IPA yang cenderung aktif dan IPS yang kreatif. Secara keseluruhan tinjauan ini memberikan titik acauan yang tepat untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dengan melihat kebutuhan dari pendekatan saintifik dalam aspek melatih motivasi terutama dalam mempermudah guru menyampaikan materi dan membuat guru lebih kreatif dalam menyampaikan materi kepada siswa. In civic education learning, a scientific approach is needed so that learning does not seem monotonous, this approach is very suitable because it will train students' motivation in seeking deeper knowledge. Therefore, the researcher conducted a descriptive qualitative study to examine the implementation of the scientific approach in training student motivation. Researchers conducted interviews with class XI teachers of SMA Negeri 6 Bandung, observations, documentation studies and field notes. The results of this review indicate that the scientific approach is very relevant to be applied, especially to students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences who tend to be active and creative in social studies. Overall this review provides an appropriate reference point for further research by looking at the need for a scientific approach in the aspect of training motivation, especially in making it easier for teachers to deliver material and making teachers more creative in conveying material to students.
