Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai status identitas peserta didik yang dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena perkembangan peserta didik khususnya di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang beranggapan bahwa peserta didik hanya difokuskan untuk siap terjun di dunia kerja atau karir saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan status identitas secara umum dan lebih spesifik pada domain-domain status identitas peserta didik kelas XI SMKN Manonjaya Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 515 peserta didik dengan sampel sebanyak 221 peserta didik menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Pengambilan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara digital melalui google form. Data tersebut dianalisis untuk mencari gambaran umum menggunakan skor T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran secara umum status identitas diri peserta didik berada pada Achievement. Terdapat perbedaan status antar domain, yakni pada domain karir termasuk status Achievement, domain agama dalam Foreclosure, domain politik Achievement, domain filosofi gaya hidup Foreclosure, domain persahabatan Achievement, domain pertemanan dengan lawan jenis dalam Diffusion, domain peran jenis kelamin Foreclosure, dan domain rekreasi termasuk kedalam status Achievement. This study discusses the status identity of students', which is motivated by the phenomenon of student development, especially in Vocational High Schools which think that students are only focused on being ready for work. This study aims to describe the identity status in general and more specifically on the identity status domains of students in class XI SMKN Manonjaya in 2020/2021. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey design. The population in this study was 515 students with a sample of 221 students using the convenience sampling technique. Data collection for this research was carried out by distributing digital questionnaires via a google form. The data was analyzed to find a general picture using the T score. The results showed the general of students' identity status was in Achievement. There are differences between domains, namely in the career domain in Achievement status, religious domain in Foreclosure, political domain in Achievement, philosophical lifestyle domain in Foreclosure, friendship domain in Achievement, dating domain in Diffusion, gender role domain in Foreclosure, and recreation domain in status Achievements.
