Abstract

Konformitas dan perilaku altruis berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan sosial remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan konformitas teman sebaya dengan perilaku altruistic pada peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya Kabupaten Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 234 responden dari kelas X dan kelas XI dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) gambaran umum konformitas peserta didik berada pada kategori tinggi; (2) gambaran umum perilaku altruistik peserta didik dalam kategori tinggi; dan (3) terdapat hubungan positif antara konformitas peserta didik dengan perilaku altruistic. Conformity and altruistic behavior affect the social development of adolescents.This study alms to examine the relationship between conformity and altruistic behavior in student at SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya Bandung Regency.The research sample amounted to 234 respondents from class X and class XI using simple random sampling technique. The results howed: (1) the general description of the conformity of students is in the high category; (2) general description of the students’ altruistic behavior is in the high category; and (3) there is a positive relationship beteen student conformity and altruistic behavior.
