Abstract
Tempat Wisata terus berkembang di Bandung sebagai usaha untuk memperkaya daya tarik wisata di daerah ini. Salah satu bentuk wisata alternatif yang potensial untuk dikembangkan di Bandung adalah wisata kampus. Wisata kampus adalah jenis wisata yang kegiatannya dilakukan di areal kampus. Kampus Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini mulai merenovasi dan mengembangkan pembangunannya ke arah yang lebih modern. Dalam skripsi ini mengkaji potensi-potensi yang dimiliki Kampus Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia serta strategi pengembangan untuk menjadikannya sebagai wisata kampus. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian survey. Teori-teori ini dipakai untuk membedah permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu mengidentifikasi potensi, mengetahui pengaruh faktor eksternal, dan merancang strategi pengembangan untuk Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dalam melangsungkan kegiatan wisata kampus. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat dilihat bahwa kampus ini mempunyai beberapa kriteria yang berpotensi untuk dijadikan sebagai wisata kampus. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat lima kriteria yang diuji untuk menemukan kriteria penentu potensi visual wisata di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, yaitu keindahan, keunikan, nilai sejarah, kondisi gedung dan ruang terbuka hijau. Adapun kriteria pendukung yang membantu untuk dijadikan sebagai wisata kampus yaitu, fasilitas dan pelayanan kampus, aktivitas wisata, dan jalur wisata kampus. Kata kunci : Wisata kampus, potensi wisata, strategi pengembangan. Place of Interest continues to grow in Bandung in an effort to enrich the tourist attraction in this area. One form of alternative tourism potential to be developed in Bandung is a campus tour. Campus tour is the type of tourist activities on the campus area. Campus University of Indonesia in recent years began to renovate and develop their development toward more modern. In this thesis examines the potential-potential of the Indonesian Education University Campus as well as the development of strategies to make it a campus tour. This study designusing descriptive and qualitative approach with survey research. These theories are used to dissect the problems faced by the identified potential, determine the influence of external factors, and design strategies for the development of Indonesia University of Education carry out activities in a campus tour. Data collection methods used in this study is the observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Based on the research conducted, it can be seen that this campus has several criteria that have the potential to serve as a campus tour. In this study, there are five criteria are tested to find the determining criterion of visual potential tourist in Indonesia University of Education, namely, beauty, uniqueness, historical value, condition of buildings and open green spaces. The criteria support that helps to serve as a campus tour that is, facilities and campus services, tourist activities, and campus tour path.
