Abstract

ABSTRAK Literasi matematis merupakan kemampuan dasar minimal yang harus dimiliki dalam memenuhi kecakapan abad 21. Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dipersiapkan maupun digunakan oleh guru belum mendukung peningkatan literasi matematis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran dalam pencapaian literasi matematis siswa SMK dengan menggunakan bahan ajar matematika berbasis masalah kreatif yang telah dikembangkan; (2) menganalisis respons siswa terhadap bahan ajar matematika berbasis masalah kreatif untuk pencapaian literasi matematis siswa. Indikator yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) menggunakan berbagai macam istilah (kosakata), angka, simbol (notasi/operasi/rumus), dan metode (prosedur) yang terkait dengan matematika dasar; (2) menganalisis masalah dan informasi yang ditampilkan dalam berbagai bentuk (grafik, tabel, bagan, diagram, atau uraian) melalui proses eksplorasi, penyelidikan, dan penalaran logis; (3) menafsirkan hasil analisis tersebut untuk memprediksi dan mengambil keputusan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R & D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Tahap-tahap yang dilakukan meliputi tahap analysis (analisis), tahap design (perencanaan), tahap development (pengembangan), tahap implementation (implementasi), dan tahap evaluation (evaluasi). Bahan ajar yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini didaptasi dari Model Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri (UKBM) III. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa instrumen telaah UKBM, soal tes literasi matematis, dan angket respons. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu SMK Kabupaten Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis masalah kreatif untuk literasi matematis (UKBM) tergolong efektif berdasarkan data persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 75% dan persentase daya serap siswa, yakni terdapat 75,42% siswa yang berada di atas nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM); (2) respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis masalah kreatif untuk literasi matematis tergolong baik dengan nilai rata-rata angket siswa 2,95 yang menunjukkan kategori baik untuk semua aspek indikator angket. ABSTRACT Mathematical literacy is the least basic ability that must be possessed in fulfilling the 21st century skills. The facts on the ground show that the teaching materials prepared and used by teachers have not supported the improvement of students' mathematical literacy. The aims of this study were (1) to determine the effectiveness of learning for the achievement of mathematical literacy of Vocational High School Students by using creative problem-based mathematics teaching materials that have been developed; (2) analyzing students' responses toward creative problem-based mathematics teaching materials devoted for the achievement of students' mathematical literacy. The indicators used in this study are: (1) using various terms (vocabulary), numbers, symbols (notations/operations/formulas), and methods (procedures) related to basic mathematics; (2) analyzing problems and information presented in various forms (graphs, tables, charts, diagrams, descriptions, etc.) through the process of exploration, investigation, and logical reasoning; (3) interpreting the results of the analysis to predict and make decisions. This research is a type of research and development (R & D) with the ADDIE development model. The stages carried out include the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The teaching materials used in this study are adapted from the Independent Learning Activity Unit (UKBM) III Model, whereas the instruments used are UKBM study instruments, mathematical literacy test questions, and response questionnaires. The research was carried out in one of Vocational High Schools in Bandung Regency. The results of this study are: (1) Learning using creative problem-based teaching materials for mathematical literacy (UKBM) is classified as effective based on the percentage of learning completeness of 75% and the percentage of student absorption, i.e. there are 75.42% of students who are above the criteria value. Minimum Completeness (KKM); (2) student responses to learning using creative problem-based teaching materials for mathematical literacy are classified as good with an average student questionnaire score of 2.95 which indicates a good category for all aspects of the questionnaire indicators.
