Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian eksperimen semu mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dengan pendekatan Quantum Teaching berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran untuk menguji keefektivitasannya dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Cirebon, dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Pada kelompok eksperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dengan pendekatan Quantum Teaching berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol diterapkan pembelajaran konvensional yang biasa digunakan sebelumnya. Dari perbandingan rata-rata gain yang dinormalisasi <g> dan dari tes hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dengan pendekatan Quantum Teaching berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif yang lebih baik daripada menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dengan pendekatan Quantum Teaching berbantuan multimedia menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Kata kunci : Learning Cycle 5E, Quantum Teaching, multimedia pembelajaran, hasil belajar ranah kognitif   Quasi-experimental research has been conducted on the application of 5E Learning Cycle learning model with the approach of multimedia assisted learning Quantum Teaching to test keefektivitasannya in improving learning outcomes in the cognitive domain on the subjects of Information Technology and Communication . The research was conducted on the students of class XI in one of the high school in Cirebon , the research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design . In the experimental group applied learning model 5E Learning Cycle with Quantum Teaching approach of multimedia assisted learning is applied while the control group used the conventional learning earlier . From the comparison of the average normalized gain <g> and from tests on cognitive learning outcomes , it can be concluded that the 5E Learning Cycle model of learning with multimedia -assisted approach to Quantum Teaching learning can effectively improve the cognitive outcomes of student learning better than using learning model conventional. Students' response to the 5E Learning Cycle model of learning with multimedia -assisted approach to Quantum Teaching shows positive results .
