Abstract
Membaca merupakan keterampilan dasar yang perlu dimiliki oleh setiap peserta didik termasuk anak cerebral palsy. Namun dalam pembelajarannya, guru harus melakukan penyesuaian dengan kondisi anak cerebral palsy melalui asesmen Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan instrumen asesmen membaca permulaan untuk anak cerebral palsy. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, didapatkan Instrumen Asesmen Membaca Permulaan untuk Anak Cerebral Palsy yang tersusun dari tiga aspek utama, yakni kesadaran fonemik (phonemic awareness), prinsip abjad (alphabetic principle), dan kelancaran (fluency), yang terdiri dari 65 butir instrumen dinyatakan valid dan reliabilitas instrumen bernilai 0,98 yang berarti reliabilitas instrumen sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian, Instrumen Asesmen Membaca Permulaan untuk Anak Cerebral Palsy ini telah memenuhi syarat alat tes yang baik. Guru dapat menggunakan instrumen ini untuk mengungkapkan kemampuan, hambatan, dan kebutuhan anak cerebral palsy dalam aspek membaca permulaan serta untuk menentukan program membaca permulaan yang sesuai dengan kondisi anak cerebral palsy. Reading is a basic skill that every student needs to have, including children with cerebral palsy. However, in learning, teachers must make adjustments to the condition of children with cerebral palsy through assessment. The purpose of this research is to develop an early reading assessment instrument for children with cerebral palsy. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis. In this study, the Early Reading Assessment Instrument for Cerebral Palsy Children was obtained which was composed of three main aspects, namely phonemic awareness, the alphabetic principle, and fluency, which consisted of 65 items declared valid and valid. instrument reliability is 0.98 which means the instrument reliability is very high. Thus, the Early Reading Assessment Instrument for Children with Cerebral Palsy has met the requirements of a good test tool. Teachers can use this instrument to reveal the abilities, barriers, and needs of children with cerebral palsy in the aspect of early reading and to determine an early reading program that is suitable for the condition of children with cerebral palsy.
