Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan etnopedagogi berbasis kearifan lokal Lampung dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Sekolah Alam Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa terdapat faktor penting yang menjadi indikator keberhasilan peningkatan mutu pendidikan dalam kepemimpinan etnopedagogi berupa falsafah hidup (way of life), diantaranya adalah prinsip piil pesenggiri (prinsip kehormatan), prinsip juluk adek (prinsip keberhasilan), prinsip nemui nyimah (prinsip penghargaan), prinsip nengah nyappur (prinsip persamaan), dan prinsip sakai sambayan (prinsip kerjasama). Selain itu juga terdapat beberapa faktor penting dalam pelaksanaan konsep kepemimpinan etnopedagogi di SMP Alam Lampung, diantaranya adalah a) penerapannya melibatkan seluruh masyarakat sekolah; b) sekolah memiliki nilai inti atau karakter yang akan dituju dengan visi dan misi; c) menggunakan pendekatan dalam penerapan kepemimpinan etnopedagogi di sekolah melalui proses penyerapan nilai-nilai lokal menjadi budaya sekolah; dan d) dengan kepemimpinan etnopedagogi menjadi salah satu komponen berharga dalam mengoptimalkan kebijakan desentralisasi pendidikan; Selain itu hambatan dan tantangan dalam penerapannya adalah pelaksanaan kepemimpinan etnopedagogi yang terhambat berdasarkan derasnya budaya asing akibat globalisasi, sehingga budaya bangsa mulai tergeser dan keadaan saat ini yang mengguncang tatanan pendidikan yaitu Covid-19. Sedangkan tahapan pengimplementasiannya adalah a) proses identifikasi; b) proses internalisasi dengan pengenalan atau pemahaman, penerimaan, dan pengintegrasian; dan c) proses memaknai nilai. This study aims to analyze the ethno pedagogical leadership based on Lampung’s local wisdom in improving the quality of education at Sekolah Alam Lampung. The research methodology used is a descriptive research of qualitative approach with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there are several important factors considered as the indicators of the success in improving the quality of education in ethno pedagogical leadership in the form of philosophy of life (way of life), including the principle of piil pesenggiri (principle of honor), the principle of juluk adek (principle of success), the principle of nemui nyimah (principle of appreciation), the principle of nengah nyappur (principle of equality), and sakai sambayan principle (principle of cooperation). In addition, there are also several important factors in the implementation of ethno pedagogical leadership concepts at SMP Alam Lampung, including a) its application involves the entire school community; b) the school has core values or characters achieved to be in line with the vision and mission of the school; c) using the approach in ethno pedagogical leadership implementation in schools through the process of absorbing local values to be the school culture; and d) with ethno pedagogical leadership, it is being one of valuable component in optimizing the policies of education decentralization. In addition, the obstacles and challenges in its implementation are the implementation of ethno pedagogical leadership in the swift flow of foreign cultures due to the globalization, the nation's culture that has begun to shift and the current situation that has shaken the education system; pandemic of Covid-19. While the implementation is; a) the identification process; b) the process of internalization by introduction or understanding, acceptance, and integration; and c) the process of interpreting values.
