Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode Ummi terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an anak dengan spektrum autistik kelas lima di SD Plus Marhas. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya ketimpangan antara kompetensi yang diharuskan oleh sekolah dalam membaca Al-Qur’an dan kemampuan siswa, sehingga siswa mengalami ketertinggalan dalam mengaji. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang menggunakan jenis penelitian Single Subject Design. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yakni A-B-A’. Subjek penelitian merupakan siswa dengan spektrum autistik kelas lima di SD Plus Marhas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan tes kepada subjek menggunakan instrumen membaca Al-Qur’an berdasarkan jilid dalam metode Ummi, yang terdiri dari mengenal huruf hijaiyah dengan delapan indikator didalamnya. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui teknik analisis statistic deskriptif yang disajikan dalam bentuk grafik. Komponen yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini yakni analisis dalam kondisi dan analisis antar kondisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Ummi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa dengan spektrum autistik kelas lima. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan mean level dari ketiga fase, dengan rincian pada fase baseline-1 (A1) menunjukkan mean level sebesar 47%, fase intervensi (B) sebesar 81%, dan fase baseline-2 (A2) sebesar 94.85%. Adapun besarnya pengaruh intervensi menggunakan metode Ummi dapat dilihat dari persentase overlap, yakni sebesar 0%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Ummi mempengaruhi peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa dengan spektrum autistik kelas lima di SD Plus Marhas. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Ummi method on improving the ability to read the Qur'an of children with the fifth-grade autistic spectrum at SD Plus Marhas. This research was conducted because of the disparity between the competencies required by the school in reading the Qur'an and the student's abilities so that students were left behind in the Koran. This research is quantitative research with an experimental method that uses a Single Subject Design research type. The research design used is A-B-A'. The research subjects were fifth graders of the autistic spectrum at SD Plus Marhas. Data collection was carried out by conducting tests on the subject using the instrument of reading the Qur'an based on the volume in the Ummi method, which consisted of recognizing the hijaiyah letter with eight indicators in it. The data obtained were analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis techniques presented in graphic form. The components analyzed in this study are analysis under conditions and analysis between conditions. The results showed that the Ummi method could improve the ability to read the Qur'an of students with the fifth-grade autistic spectrum. This is indicated by an increase in the mean level of the three phases, with details in the baseline-1 phase (A1) showing a mean level of 47%, the intervention phase (B) of 81%, and the baseline-2 phase (A2) of 94.85%. The magnitude of the influence of the intervention using the Ummi method can be seen from the overlap percentage, which is 0%. Thus it can be concluded that the Ummi method affects the improvement of the ability to read the Qur'an of students with the fifth-grade autistic spectrum at SD Plus Marhas.
