Abstract

Salah satu penyebab rendahnya moral anak-anak bangsa karena lemahnya orientasi pendidikan terhadap penanaman nilai-nilai moral sejak dini dan rendahnya perhatian terhadap perkembangan jati diri dan hakikat kemanusiaan. Tindakan moral negatif disebabkan oleh hasil pikiran negatif. Sebaliknya, perilaku moral postif dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan moral yang positif. Dan salah satu sumber pengetahuan moral tersebut diperoleh melalui kegiatan literasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah sekolah dalam penguatan pendidikan moral untuk pembentukan karakter siswa melalui gerakan literasi sekolah, penanaman nilai-nilai moral untuk pembentukan karakter melalui gerakan literasi sekolah, faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah, dan dampak dari gerakan literasi sekolah dalam upaya pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Dilakukan di SDIT Bina Muda Cicalengka Kabupaten Bandung. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis triangulasi. Temuan penelitian diperoleh: (1) langkah sekolah dalam penguatan pendidikan moral untuk pembentukan karakter siswa dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yaitu tahap pembiasaan, pengembangan dan pembelajaran; (2) penanaman nilai-nilai moral yang dikembangkan melalui gerakan literasi sekolah tergantung jenis buku yang dibaca siswa, prosesnya melalui kegiatan membaca, menulis, merviu, presentasi, diskusi dan apresiasi; (3) Faktor pendukung penguatan moral untuk pembentukan karakter melalui gerakan literasi sekolah didapat dari seluruh warga sekolah, yaitu yayasan, kepala sekolah, para guru dan orangtua siswa; dukungan pemerintah, fungsi perpustakaan sekolah, dan kerjasama dengan toko buku dan penerbit. Faktor penghambatnya adalah minimnya ketersediaan buku, alokasi dana khusus dan pengaruh teknologi; (4) dampak karakter dari gerakan literasi sekolah ini yang paling kentara adalah gemar membaca, rasa ingin tahu, disiplin, jujur, kerjasama, demokratis, kritis, komunikatif dan bertanggung jawab. Negative moral actions are caused by the results of negative thoughts. On the other hand, positive moral behavior is influenced by positive moral knowledge. And one source of moral knowledge is obtained through literacy activities. This study aims to describe the school's steps in strengthening moral education for the formation of student character through the school literacy movement, inculcating moral values for character building through the school literacy movement, supporting factors and inhibiting the implementation of the school literacy movement, and the impact of the school literacy movement. in character building. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Conducted at SDIT Bina Muda Cicalengka, Bandung Regency. Data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation with triangulation analysis techniques. The research findings were obtained: (1) school steps in strengthening moral education for the formation of student character were carried out through three stages, namely the stages of habituation, development and learning; (2) the cultivation of moral values developed through the school literacy movement depending on the type of books students read, the process through reading, writing, reviewing, presentation, discussion and appreciation activities; (3) The supporting factors for moral strengthening for character building through the school literacy movement are obtained from all school members, namely foundations, school principals, teachers and parents of students; government support, school library functions, and collaboration with bookstores and publishers. The inhibiting factors are the lack of availability of books, the allocation of special funds and the influence of technology; (4) the most obvious impact of the character of the school literacy movement is the love of reading, curiosity, discipline, honesty, cooperation, critical, communicative and responsible.
