Abstract
Skripsi ini mengambil judul “Penerapan Metode Cooperative Learning Tipe Group Investigation untuk Meningkatkan Kerjasama Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada kelas XI IPS di SMA PGII 2 Bandung)”. Penelitian yang dilakukan berkaitan dengan penggunaan metode cooperative learning tipe group investigation. Kegiatan ini berupa performance yang harus dikerjakan siswa melalui kerjasama dan pembuatan berupa laporan hasil diskusi investigasi kelompok. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas XI IPS di SMA PGII 2 Bandung. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Karena pembelajaran sejarah selama ini masih bersifat teacher centered dan ketika siswa melakukan kegiatan diskusi di kelas hanya beberapa orang siswa saja yang melakukan kerjasama saat diskusi. Kerjasama siswa yang rendah terlihat ketika siswa dimintai belajar secara berkelompok untuk berdiskusi dan berbagi tugas mengenai materi pembelajaran sejarah, saat pembagian tugas-tugasnya tidak terbagi secara merata. Saat melakukan diskusi di dalam kelompok pun masing-masing siswa masih kurang menghargai pendapat orang lain, juga partisipasi siswa di dalam pengerjaan tugas masih kurang. Pada akhirnya diskusi kelompok tidak berjalan dengan baik sehingga mengakibatkan siswa bekerja secara sendiri-sendiri. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan desain dari Kemmis dan Taggart. Desain model Kemmis dan Taggart dalam satu siklus diawali dengan perencanaan (plan), tindakan (act), observasi (observation) dan diakhiri dengan refleksi (reflection). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitiannya menggunakan lembar observasi, rubric dan lembar wawancara. Berdasarkan pada penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode cooperative learning tipe group investigation dapat meningkatkan kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah pada kelas XI IPS di SMA PGII 2 Bandung. Hal ini terlihat dari pencapaian siswa dalam setiap pelaksanaan siklus yang mengalami peningkatan, baik dalam pengerjaan laporan hasil diskusi investigasi kelompok dan peningkatan kerjasama siswa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode cooperative learning tipe group investigation dapat meningkatkan kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah pada kelas XI IPS di SMA PGII 2 Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi saran bagi guru dan pihak sekolah untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran sejarah yang memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran, sehingga pembelajaran dapat menggali kemampuan siswa dan guru dapat melihat pengerjaan laporan hasil diskusi investigasi kelompok dan pelaksanaan kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran. Abstract This thesis takes the title "Application of Cooperative Learning Methods Type Group Investigation to Improve Cooperation’s Students of History Teaching (Classroom Action Research on class XI IPS in SMA PGII 2 Bandung)". This research is using cooperative learning methods type of group investigation. Student performance must be shown through cooperation to make the report which is the results of the investigation group discussions. This research was conducted in class XI IPS in SMA PGII 2 Bandung. The main object of this research is to increase student collaboration in teaching history. Because teaching history as we know is still teacher center. When student in the classroom, only a few students who cooperated during the discussion. Lacking cooperation is seen when students asked to learn in groups to discuss and share the task of learning about the history of the material, while the tasks are not evenly distributed. Current discussions within each group of students was still lacking respect the opinions of others, as well as participation of students in the task execution is still lacking. At the end of the group discussion did not go well, resulting in students working individually. The method of research is action research using design from Kemmis and Taggart. Design models Kemmis and Taggart in one cycle begins with planning, action, observation and ends with a reflection. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation study. Instrument research using observation sheets, rubric and interview sheet. Based on the research that has been conducted, showing that the use of cooperative learning method type group investigation can improve student collaboration in teaching history at class XI IPS in SMA PGII 2 Bandung. This is proving the achievement of students in each execution cycle has increased, both in working on in the results of the investigation group discussions and increase the student cooperative. It can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning method type group investigation can improve student collaboration in teaching history at class XI IPS in SMA PGII 2 Bandung. The results of this study may be suggestions for teachers and schools to develop learning history that provides the opportunity for students to participation to learning, so that learning can explore the potential of students and teachers can see the working on in the results of the investigation group discussions and the implementation of student in the history learning.
