Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan perilaku wisatawan di antara tingkat pendidikan wisatawan muslim yang melakukan perjalanan wisata. Data yang diperoleh dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Kriteria pemilihan sampel pada penelitian adalah wisatawan muslim berusia lebih dari 17 tahun atau lebih dan telah mengenyam pendidikan formal setidaknya sekolah dasar juga pernah melakukan perjalanan wisata dengan jumlah paling minimal satu kali. Metode analisis menggunakan analisis parametrik yaitu One-Way ANOVA untuk mengetahui apakah perbedaan skor dari tourist behavior disebabkan oleh atau tergantung pada perbedaan skor tingkat pendidikan wisatawan muslim. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan tourist behaviour yang signifikan di antara tingkat pendidikan wisatawan muslim. Sehingga dapat dijelaskan bahwa bagaimanapun tingkat pendidikannya, semua responden memiliki faktor serupa yang memengaruhi keputusan mereka untuk bepergian, begitu pula dengan kebutuhan dan motif yang serupa. Variabel yang lebih mempengaruhi perilaku wisata wisatawan muslim ini adalah keinginan pribadi, kebutuhan, dan anggaran wisatanya. Responden dengan tingkat pendidikan sekolah dasar/menengah, diploma/sarjana dan pascasarjana semuanya memiliki faktor yang serupa dalam berperilaku ketika mereka berwisata baik itu sebelum berwisata, selama berwisata maupun setelah berwisata. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan signifikan tentang tourist behavior dari wisatawan muslim dengan berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan dasar/menengah, diploma/sarjana/ dan pascasarjana. Penelitian ini mampu memberikan gambaran mengenai bagaimana behaviour wisatawan muslim sebelum berwisata, selama berwisata, dan setelah berwisata. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there are differences in tourist behavior among the educational levels of Muslim tourists who travel. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires using the purposive sampling method. The criteria for the sample in this study were Muslim tourists aged 17 years or more and had formal education at least elementary school and had also traveled at least once. The analysis method uses parametric analysis, namely One-Way ANOVA to determine whether the difference in scores of tourist behavior is caused by or depends on differences in the educational level of Muslim tourists. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference in tourist behavior among the educational levels of Muslim tourists. So that it can be explained that the level of education, all respondents have similar factors that influence their decisions for them, as well as similar needs and motives. Respondents with school/secondary education, diploma/bachelor degrees, and all of them have similar factors in their behavior when they travel, either before traveling, traveling, or after traveling. The variables that more influence the tourist behavior of Muslim tourists are personal preferences, needs, and travel budgets. Therefore, it can be said that there is no significant difference in the behavior of Muslim tourists based on the level of basic/secondary education, diploma/graduate/ and postgraduate. This study is able to provide an overview of the behavior of Muslim tourists before traveling, during traveling, and after traveling.
