Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena yang terjadi di era pandemi covid-19. Dengan adanya pandemi covid-19, mengharuskan kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) dilaksanakan secara daring (dalam jaringan) dirumah masing-masing. Metode pembelajaran daring ini merupakan hal yang baru untuk berbagai sektor, tak terkecuali sektor pendidikan. Penelitian bertujuan mengungkap profil motivasi belajar daring peserta didik kelas VII di era pandemi covid-19 (studi deskriptif di SMP Negeri 12 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2020-2021). Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 123 responden. Tingkat motivasi belajar terbagi menjadi tiga kategori yakni tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 18 responden (14,63%) telah berada pada kategori tinggi, 88 responden (71,55%) berada pada kategori sedang dan 17 responden (13,82%) masih berada pada kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas VII masih berada pada kategori sedang. Sehingga masih sangat perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dalam belajar daring. Beberapa upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh para pendidik untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar daring peserta didik yakni dengan menggunakan metode yang bervariatif sehingga peserta didik akan tertarik dan tidak mudah merasa bosan selama kegiatan pembelajaran daring berlangsung. Selain itu, sebagai sebuah implikasi dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah khususnya layanan bimbingan belajar, penelitian menghasilkan rancangan program sederhana sebagai salah satu bentuk upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar daring peserta didik di era pandemi covid-19. Program dirancang berdasarkan hasil analisis profil motivasi belajar daring peserta didik yang kemudian dijadikan dasar untuk menentukan deskripsi kebutuhan layanan. Risa Fauziyah, 1401487. (2021). With the Covid-19 pandemic, it is necessary for teaching and learning activities (KBM) to be carried out online at their respective homes. This online learning method is a new thing for various sectors, including the education sector. This study aims to reveal the profile of online learning motivation of seventh grade students in the era of the covid-19 pandemic (descriptive study at SMP Negeri 12 Bandung, Academic Year 2020-2021). The research design used in this study is a quantitative approach, with a total sample of 123 respondents. The level of learning motivation is divided into three categories, namely high, medium and low. Based on the results of the study, 18 respondents (14.63%) were in the high category, 88 respondents (71.55%) were in the medium category and 17 respondents (13.82%) were still in the low category. With the results of this study can be concluded that the level of learning motivation of class VII students is still in the medium category. So there is still a need for efforts to increase student motivation in online learning. Some efforts that can be made by educators to increase students online learning motivation are by using varied methods so that students will be interested and not easily bored during online learning activities. In addition, as an implication of the research that has been carried out on guidance and counseling services in schools, especially tutoring services, the research resulted in a simple program design as an effort to increase students' online learning motivation in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. The program is designed based on the results of the analysis of students' online learning motivation profiles which are then used as the basis for determining the description of the service needs to be provided.
