Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh koleksi perpustakaan yang tidak lengkap dan menurunnya tingkat kunjungan ke perpustakaan sekolah. Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada persepsi pemustaka mengenai kelengkapan koleksi dan motivasi kunjungan ke perpustakaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi pemustaka mengenai kelengkapan koleksi dan adakah hubungannya dengan motivasi kunjungan ke perpustakaan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pemustaka perpustakaan SMAN 1 Bandung, dengan sampel 77 orang yang dihitung menggunakan rumus Yamane dengan metode accidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket (kuesioner) tertutup dengan skala lima kategori Likert dengan analisis data menggunakan studi deskriptif dan korelasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data hubungan persepsi pemustaka mengenai kelengkapan koleksi dengan motivasi kunjungan ke perpustakaan SMAN 1 Bandung cukup baik. Hubungan persepsi pemustaka mengenai kelengkapan koleksi berpengaruh kuat terhadap motivasi kunjungan ke perpustakaan. Rekomendasi untuk perpustakaan, pemustaka, dan peneliti selanjutnya, agar pemustaka lebih merasakan persepsi yang “sangat baik” mengenai kelengkapan koleksi. This study was motivated by an incomplete library collections and declining visits to the school library. Issues that were analyzed in this study focused on the perceptions of the completeness of the collection user and motivation to visit the library. The purpose of this study was to determine the completeness of the collection user perception and motivation is there to do with a visit to the library. Methods This study uses descriptive method. The population in this study is user library SMAN 1 Bandung, with a sample of 77 persons were calculated using the formula Yamane with accidental sampling method. The instrument used was a questionnaire (questionnaire) closed with a five-category Likert scale with data analysis using descriptive and correlation study. Based on the analysis of data relationships user perceptions regarding the completeness of the collection with a visit to the library motivation SMAN 1 Bandung pretty good. Relationship perceptions regarding the completeness collection user strong influence on motivation visit to the library. Recommendations for libraries, user, and further research, in order to feel more user perception "very good" about the completeness of the collection.
