    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan ketepatan servis tenis meja untuk menunjang keberhasilan dalam prestasi khususnya cabang olahraga tenis meja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan desain korelasional, teknik pengambilan data kecerdasan emosional menggunakan kuesioner dan untuk ketepatan menggunakan tes keterampilan melakukan servis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling yaitu mahasiswa UKM tenis meja UPI yang berjumlah 30 orang. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS versi 26 dengan statistik deskriptif. Uji normalitas menggunakan Kolmogorof Smirnof dan uji korelasi. Bersasarkan dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperolehhubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan ketepatan melakukan servis forehand menunjukan korelasi lemah dan searah, sedangkan untuk servis backhand menunjukan korelasi lemah dan berlawanan.
    This study aims to find the relationship between emotional intelligence and the accuracy of table tennis services to support success in achievement, especially table tennis. This research is a descriptive study using a correlational design, emotional intelligence data collection techniques using a questionnaire and for accuracy using the service skills test. The subjects in this study used total sampling, namely 30 students of the UPI table tennis UKM. The collected data will be analyzed using SPSS version 26 with descriptive statistics. Normality test using Kolmogorof Smirnof and correlation test. Based on the results of research and discussion, the relationship between emotional intelligence and the accuracy of forehand service shows a weak and unidirectional correlation, while for backhand serves it shows a weak and opposite correlation.
